I sure hope my post did not come across the wrong way, other things certainly come before a silly game. It was just an odd experience that left me wondering what could have been going on for all that time, not to mention the guilt of knowing she missed the whole DA. Sad

It doesn't sound like your toon was a kid, but my little Ian has ended up in the factory before... following around big toons. Luckily, he hasn't done that in a while. He would probably keep picking bad gags anyway. Glad he hasn't done that in a long time (or sold my doodles or taken LRB in to fight the CJ by myself Confused ). Maybe I need to knock on wood?!

MissPoutyFace :

Well, there is no way to wake up a toon Smile.

Although she did seem to "wake up" when we got to the second to last set. We all said hello, but I don't think she ever said anything. She did get her merits I think. Probably didn't feel like running through all the extra cogs and figured we could handle it. She was nice enough not to take any cogs out by herself.

That's right! I forgot, she did come back Smile
What a bore for her, though - might as well work gags, I figure.
Oh yes! I've been called away from TT with blood curdling screams as well. Luckily, I mostly play with SF and they tend to take things in stride and I can explain when I get back to the keyboard.

Fuzzy Knuckles... I am new to this game but agree it is frustrating when someone jumps in and just goes for a free ride... UGH! I have only made it through Sellbot HQ but agree about the slackers.. it makes me leary to jump in with people I don't know.
Any other advise is welcomed my way..

Generally I will go ahead and jump right on, as long as at least one other toon has lp and gags to support us. You are right though, it is very frustrating when a 45 lp jumps on then wants to use a red mag on the lines of lvl 11 and lvl 12 cogs through the bullion mint. Good grief. She finally got the hint when I kept saying "no", "I'm going to use lure", "You should pick another gag". For some reason when I would use my goggles, her little mag would cancel them out, it happened 3 times! What is up with that? I really don't think she had been through the bullion mint before because by the end she kept saying she needed more gags. The other toon with me was a 65+ lp and had 6+ lvl gags so we got through no prob.

Yes, using a red magnet will downgrade the likelihood of your goggles hitting. It averages out the percentages. This is why you should use your blue mag when you have a friend trying to work their red magnet. It is supposed to increase their odds of hitting. Of course, you do this when training gags and not fighting for your life Smile

You are a pretty nice toon helping them through a bullion like that! Don't we have a nice toon award to give you? Of course, nowadays the little laffers can't jump onto the Bullion elevator anyway Smile

Amazingly, I haven't had this happen to me a lot. I've had see incidents but not major annoyances. That's gotta be a big bummer for you. Having to deal with that stupid dog.....

You think that was annoying? Read my story. Be aware and stay away from Jeremiah (blue rabbit Lp117) and Jenny (pink rabbit Lp115). I went in the bullion mint with them. They acted like somewhat normal toons, if you discount Jeremiah acting bi-polar, SFing all the time but they used gags and even tooned-up. I did not say much to them, just went through the motions of the fight. When we get to almost the end, where the room splits w/ 4 sets of cogs on either side and at the end before boss set, they just stop. Will not continue on despide me saying "let's go" and "what's up". So with some unite phrases and SOS. I pass through the last set before the boss. Then Jeremiah whispers a Smile to me and steps up to the boss. They glitched to the boss and used me to get there. I run to them just in time to see them dance. Then Jeremiah gives me a bow and says "I don't care". Nice toons huh?

For the most part, I do enjoy randomness. That was the only way I played for the longest time (when friends weren't online and before I met this bunch). I do also like to help smaller toons through the mints too as long as they play smart, or take a hint (I only give strong suggestions when it is really obvious they are struggling). I think it is fun, but I really can't stand slackers who let the timer run and run, it annoys the ever living business out of me Evil or Very Mad . I really would prefer that they just pass. I don't care if they lie and say they don't have enough gags or anything else, let the rest of us get through it then and we will remember not to play with the slacker ever again.

Wow, that has never happened to me before, but I have been only been playing for about 2 and a half weeks.

What has happened to me, though, is someone going in an elelvator at the factory, and than getting out at the last second so only three toons can go in. This happened about 3 or four times, and this toon was not doing it because they were unsure because afterwards they would say "Haha"

I just don't understand the point, though. What is the point of slacking? If you don't use your gags, you don't gain any experience in that gag. *shrugs*
If I ran into a slacker, I would just teleport out. I really don't have the time.
