Wow, school already? We don't start until September 5th, but we end in late June. We still have to do all that back to school shopping - ick!
As for tonight, I'll try to bring someone. I'll see if my son's toon wants to come out and play too!

Sorry, it's rehearsal night. I might be home in time for the CJ, but that is awful close to my curfew. So more than likely, see you on Tuesday.

Owooo! Forgot about the CJ tonight. I doubt I can get 14,400 notices in one day since I have done 0 of them. If there isn't enough for it I can drag my son's old toon in.

School here is also Aug 28th but next district over is after Labor Day. Go figure? Anyway I'm iffy for the CJ tonight (more than likely will miss VP) Still need about 100 notices (easy enough) but I'm hoping to remove Vista and install XP today so not sure how long it will take to get everything back together or how much of a pain it will be. If not tonight I'll see you all at the CFO (btw I could use some beans along with my ever needed TU....I'm actually OUT of beans)!

Possible VP on JL Crazy.
There is no way I can CJ. Those 360 notices are just too hard.

Nanner, I think your making a wise choice on removing Vista from your computer. It was just too much for my computer. I switched back to XP shortly after.....There goes $100 right down the drain....

I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the VP run. After running three miles without stopping I got extremely tired. My toon Roxy needs 1300 merits. I guess it's back to the factory for me......After maxxing with Goofo I thought Id be away from the factory for a while.

I saw you in the pit tonight Wild Thing.
It was a strange run. Unfortunately Crazy Hills was a green district, so people were landing there - MST said she landed there It looked there was a load of 9, so I bowed out, but then MST said someone left the ele so hey went in with 7? Did ya'all get to dance for Dr Drift?

I hope the VP went well for those who made it. I was a minute or two late and didn't see any names I recognized. Crazy Hills was green though, so I looked in the backup district, but it was empty. I went back to the main dist and saw Loopy Nicklegoose, so I waited around with her for a while, putting up with random requests for factory runs and the like.
I later learned (thanks Loopy) that a load had already gone, but with some unrecognized names, so I hope the randoms didn't cause any problems.
I'm glad a bunch of you got to go and I have no problem with having missed it. It was my own fault for being late, and I much prefer the runs to go on time than to wait around for late arrivals.
But today does bring up an interesting point. We have a backup district, but do we have any particular criteria for deciding to switch to it? Or any way to communicate that intention to others? Maybe we do and I'm just clueless (wouldn't be the first time), but if not, it would be a good thing to decide. And maybe add to the standard run text, so everyone knows (or at least doesn't have an excuse for not knowing, LOL).
Last comment - Nanner, I love your avatar! I've got to get me a fresh pack of Q-tips.
