Brown Monkey mascot key run Sept. ??

After today's VP run, Brown Monkey (for those who don't know, he's my yellow bear sell uber who's a mascot for the Brown Monkey Troop) is a HW 49. I'll be trying to get my last 5500 merits on him this week, and (hopefully) get his key at the Brown Monkey VP on Sunday, Sept. 16. This is way cool for me because it'll be my first keyed toon on test, and my first uber to get a key anywhere.

I'd love to have as many members of the Brown Monkey Troop as possible in that run with me. I know some haven't played in a while, and others may also have a lot of merits to get, but if you can be there, it would be great.

It'll be at the same time as the normal Brown Monkey VP run, because I know that's when many plan on being there anyway. I'm thinking we'll just stand together in a group in the pit, and go after most others have gone.

If there's room on the elevator, any of my other TTF friends are very welcome to come too. You guys are all great! But I'd like the priority to go to members of the BMT. Thanks.

If you want to come but can't make it, I'd be happy to join you on another run any time - I'll be able to because I'll have a key!!!

Last note - this run is even more special to me because it's my birthday on Saturday the 15th, so getting my key will be a great birthday gift!

LOL! Because on test it's so hard to find factory help and soloing is so boring that people tend to quit working a toon for a while when they see that 5500 show up and they start another toon.

Hey, thanks everyone who offered to help with merits. I'd love the company! Feel free to take a hit or two from goons so I can work my TU, ok? (But don't overdo it, LOL, I don't carry many TU gags in the fac.) I'm going to have my sell key before I get juggle. Another hazard of too much soloing on test.

Unfortunately I don't know when exactly I'm going to be on. On and off through the evenings this week I guess, and during the day Saturday if I don't have them by then. Those of you who are SFs will know easily enough if I'm there. I'd be happy to run with anyone else too, even small toons working on suit parts, but for non SFs I guess running into each other would just be hit and miss.

Looks like a few of us will be doing a bunch of facs on test this week, so even if you miss me you'll have each other for company Smile

(Which is a good thing, right? Shocked

)

Oh sure! Miss Quacks Up just finished her stupid 5500 merits - took 2 weeks and a LOT of boring solo factories (although I can read a book and solo a factory, so there!). Funny thing, I was just telling my friend I need to bring up another toon on Test so I can dump these big merit and buck runs Smile

I'll be there Sunday and see how many cute Monkeys you can gather. Too bad Miss Saren Dippity on Open can't cross over since she was created sort of as the anti-brown monkey Wink

I have 7 toons VP ready and 5 CFO ready.... to get by the Big Merits and Bux. 4 more suit parts to have anothe CFO ready.
My fear is that one day it will all catch up to me and all of them will be sitting at 5500 merits and 8900 bux Shocked

Currently have HWs and RBs to Name Droppers and Short Changers.
If I put all that time into one toon I should be maxed in those 2 HQs Mr. Green

Alas...Huckleberry is a 45 laff Uber with a key to the washroom. I've had the pleasure of two VPs with Huckleberry. Not sure who plays this toon, but I believe a toon named Testy (another 4 track Uber) is played by the same person. I asked Testy "Let's go fight the VP". He/she said "brb" and Huckleberry appeared.

I was ready to write a similar thing. I think that she has another smaller sell uber in the works. I know the name but it is escaping me.

I was unaware ... when I started on Dapper Dan (my not so little uber sitting at 49 laff) 2 years ago the only other uber like toon I saw was Dag Nabbit who went beyond TTC. There was a grandmother who had a toon with High gags (not maxxed at the time) and TU who use to patrol TTC streets and help the new toons before Doodles in battle came out. Before Law HQ came out I was playing Test only and gave up Open...never saw any other uber toons. I still get the whispers (not nice ones) when I run on Dapper.

Wonder if we could get an all uber run. Cool

Hey Varmint- I had friends on test who said they would rather have ubers on test than open. They thought that the test crowd was more willing to help them than the open toons. When I see them on again, I will try to match up a playdate for you? Hee hee!
