Hi everybody!
I just found this forum by googling toontown forum. I read through it on my Blackberry Curve and thought this appears to be a cool place to hang my toon hat.
My boy too young to read started playing toontown. The problem came when toons were stinking him for making bad moves. Since he was too young to understand anyway I just signed up and played with him to guide and help him along. Long story short he plays other games but I don't so my toon wound up growing faster than his

yup, that's how I got hooked too. I sat with my daughter to help her with the reading while she played. Comcast was offering, 20 free hours a month I think it was, so at the end of the month I would go in and use up the rest of the hours riding trolley games etc to get her extra jellybeans. Until One month, I found I'd already used up the 20 hours within the first week oops, so ended up shelling out for an unlimited account so that I could play too lol

That pretty much sums up all the other adults that play TT. We get an account for our children, they play for a while get bored and we take over and thus become TT addicts.

Welcome. Your story sounds so familiar. I think every adult here has told some variation or another of their kid got them hooked. Nice to have another adult in our happy little group.

(raises hand) I'm a toonaholic--my niece got me addicted. We then got my mom addicted--she blames her 43 year old kid and her 14 year old granddaughter but enjoys those hours on Toontown also.

LOL, Thats exactly how I started, My son COULD read so thats why I had to step in! He would get upset too. Of course I would have to set those arrogant little toons straight!
