| silly bubbles : | | Varmint : | I was unaware ... when I started on Dapper Dan (my not so little uber sitting at 49 laff) 2 years ago the only other uber like toon I saw was Dag Nabbit who went beyond TTC. There was a grandmother who had a toon with High gags (not maxxed at the time) and TU who use to patrol TTC streets and help the new toons before Doodles in battle came out. Before Law HQ came out I was playing Test only and gave up Open...never saw any other uber toons. I still get the whispers (not nice ones) when I run on Dapper.
Wonder if we could get an all uber run. |
Hey Varmint- I had friends on test who said they would rather have ubers on test than open. They thought that the test crowd was more willing to help them than the open toons. When I see them on again, I will try to match up a playdate for you? Hee hee! |
I attract the "fun" toons....that is why I never see you
I love the toons who tell me to pick TU and frown...

Well DANG!!!!
You guys are all *GREAT*, and thanks for saying all those nice things! But I'm sad to say I need to postpone my key run. I mentioned it's my birthday this weekend, right? Well my parents, sister, and nephew are stopping by (from out of town) to "celebrate" with me, and guess when? Yep, Sunday evening. I'd hoped the timing would work out that I could sneak off to the computer for half an hour to do this run, but no go. Sorry everyone, but I won't be able to attend the run that night at all, let alone earn my key.
I'm now hoping to do it the following weekend, on Sept. 23, but I'm not even 100% sure about that. I'll be out of town a good portion of the day. There's a good chance I'll be back in time, but unpredictable traffic and a border crossing means I won't know for sure until shortly before the run.
So, in traditional Brown Monkey Troop style, it's going to end up kind of random and unpredictable.
I can't be there this weekend, but whatever weekend I can be there, I will be there.
Thanks all, and TTYL,
Kevin

You took that the wrong way.... sorry!
I seem to find not so nice toons on my Uber. The times I have waived to you...you have waived back
Most toons on test are great, freindly and helpful.

Kevin - sounds like a traditional 'guy' run to me
Must be a bummer to have to postpone, though. I'm sure the bear is ready to rumble!

I most definitely took that the wrong way. OOPS!! Of course, I thought it was funny that you would say something like that to me! <-----when I thought you meant something different.

WOW!!! What a blast!!!
That was so much fun you guys! Seriously the best key run I've ever had!
We had five Brown Monkeys - thanks so much for being there Seana, Heather, Kath, Jerri, and Gene. You all mean a lot to me, and my mascot toon has been so much more fun to play because of being associated with your hilarious Troop! It's been tonnes of fun getting here, and out of the countless factories I've done on that toon, the ones I did with Brown Monkeys were easily the most fun. You made me really feel a part of the group, even though I wasn't a "real" Brown Monkey.
The other two spots were filled by two of my favourite TTFers. Thanks Jay and Brian! If I had hand picked two non-monkeys to fill the load, it would have been you two. It's too bad I couldn't have *all* my friends in the run, but there are only 8 spots on the elevator. Thanks also Jay for accompanying me on my last two factories to finish up my merits. That made it so much more enjoyable than yet more soloing. And how fitting that a toon finishing a HW50 suit should run facs with a toon still earning suit parts. That was really cool!
The whole run went great! Most gags hit, and I was never in any real danger of going sad, yet you still managed to have a lot of fun. And in the skel round, when my lure missed and two cogs attacked, two of you used Unite phrases to save me! Thanks! Sorry, it went by so fast that I'm not sure who used them, but know that it's deeply appreciated. It would have really stunk to go sad on that run, but knowing I had friends there with phrases ready was an awesome feeling. You guys rock!
The pie fight was probably the most "Brown Monkey"-ish one I've ever seen! LOL!!! There were pies flying in every direction, and there were times that I thought if any hit the VP it must have been purely chance. I took a few points of damage now and then; I was never in real danger, but it was so funny to have toons running up and pieing me all the time. LOL, towards the end I wasn't trying very hard to avoid getting hit because it was so much fun watching you all go crazy rescuing me!
Thanks everyone for a very fun and very memorable key run. Brown Monkeys Rock!
TTYL,
Kevin

Congrats Kevin!
Great fun and silliness! It might have been more Brown Monkey craziness if it wasn't for the CFO run... that probably saved you about an additional hour in there..
Hope to see ya out on Open at the Tuesday Uber runs.... slightly easier to Max there
Congrats Again!

Oooooohhhh, Kevin, I'm sooooo sorry!!! I got to doing haircuts after our late dinner (8:00), and having done all 4 that needed haircuts, it took too long. I did forget about going on over to test today....oof!
CONGRATS to you my friend!!! Let me just say that you definitely are a REAL Brown Monkey!! I have always enjoyed seeing your yellow bear at the BMT runs on Sunday night, and throughout the week running factories and buildings. All I can say is YOU ROCK KEVIN!!! Congratulations!! Big smoochies to you...MWAH!!

Congrats Kev!!!
Youe are a true browne monkeye at hearte, (forgive the wannabe Canadian Spelling), despite looking like some fuzzy wuzzy.
Those monkeys told me you wanted to solo the VP so I didn't get any pies.
I kept unstunning the VP so you could stun and then run around and push cuz those monkeys kept you from solo'ing. Those mischievious monkeys kept slinging pies. So I relented, ran back up and got some pies, only to see those monkeys jumping up and down, oooo'ing and oahhh'ing. Then the dogs started howling, and the smoke detector started beeping. I had to turn of my sound cuz the neighbors were complaining and threateing to call the police.
Then, to top it off, 3 or 4 of those monkeys were doing some sort of ritualistics rhumba leaving only you, and the Kitty to take care of business.
I tell ya, them monkeys ain't nothin but trouble!
Anyone one who can put up with all that, has gotta be a TRUE BROWN Monkey

Hey Kevin, my friend... Many thanks for the invite! While I am not a member of that most hilarious BRown Monkey Troop, I am honored to be associated. And I must say I know of no one who handles a boss so expertly as you. Congrats on the great key run. That was a great group of folks, and BTW, I NEVER saw so much pie-slingin AWAY from the boss as in that run LOL! I'm surprised some of those toons weren't pie-plastered to the walls and floor... all for a Barbara Seville, and, Oh Yes, your KEY!

| Freddy Whatzit : | | You made me really feel a part of the group, even though I wasn't a "real" Brown Monkey. |
Kev - I have the signed adoption papers around here somewhere. You are most definitely a true Monkey .
Some pictures of the event:
Elevator - boy was it smelly in there!
Cogs - due to the CFO time, there really wasn't tooooo much goofing off with gags.

Skeles - Shenanaigan can always tell what level of cog is coming out by the scent. Brown Monkey bought the bargain goggles, so Luciento and Paradox tossed out unites in Brown Monkey/Golden Hare harmony.
Pies - Those are chocolate pies, of course.

The first Brown Monkey with a key!
