I'm steadily working on Kitty to get her LP up and gag trainings done. But at what point do you start working on suits and such? I have no idea really what is involved after doing toontasks but was curious at what point should I know about stuff like that and be able to work on it? Is there a thread somewhere that explains the game progression in general terms? I see a lot of talk about suits and notices, VPs, etc, and have no clue what it's all about.

As this is your first toon, I suggest you worry about your toontasks. I'm saying this because it will help you learn strategy and teamwork. One warning! Make sure you have a cream pie by the time you get to MML- one of the tasks is delivering a cream pie to Clef at Notations. It really is a pain when you get there but have 1000 experience points to go.

Suits- Sellsuit technically you can get that whenever you want. It requires you going into the sellbot factory 10 times (successfully) and then getting your merits by defeating a few more sellbots. Sellbot factory is off Oak St in DG.

Cashsuit- is a bunch of toontasks after you hit your DDL tasks.
Lawsuit- is accomplished after you finish all your other tasks.
Boss- is not out yet.

Now when you make your second toon, and you will. Some people enjoy getting their sell suits as soon as possible and working their suits.

You will start to become familiar with Sellbot HQ while doing tasks in Daisy's Garden (Detective Lima at Spill The Beans Detective Agency).

To get your cashbot suit, you will have to complete tasks in Donald's Dream Land. Here's the best I can come up with explaining Cashbot Suit and cogbucks:

The only way you will be able to get your Lawbot Suit is to complete ALL tasks including suit tasks and laff point tasks. Once that is complete you will be given assignment to go out and get “external temperature sensor” from all over toon town. Here is more info on that.

I see from your profile that you are about 37 laff. That means you are doing tasks in Daisy's Garden. So, you will be getting some tasks soon to go into the factory. You'll figure it out from there! Once you successfully defeat the factory once, look at your schticker book and you will see your sellbot suit building - piece by piece!

Thanks for all your replies! I'll just focus on the tasks and go where it leads me.

Don't forget gag work along with tasks. Great way is in blds on top floor where you get the most points. You stock up on a gag you're working and a friend bring lots of TU/lure/whatever. Go to the top (prefer 5th floor) and save the last two cogs. Easy enough in invasion to get 200 points a gag doing it this way. Gags as important as laff....actually more important. (watch the randoms....they tend to ummm not make gag working possible so try to go only with one other)
