Putting Power
View Single PostView Single Post

This thread is where all the experts here at TTF teach all the golfing n00bs here at TTF (Like me) how much power it takes for someone to get a hole in one in a course. It's kinda like T-Bay. Somebody asks that they want to know how much power you should do to get a hole in one on the volcano one (I really want to know!). Then a expert like LadyZ or somebody will tell them. Mods you can delete this if it's bad...or something...

I use between 75-80% power on Peanut Putter, but haven't yet made a hole-in-one on that particular one. I always have to make it in 2 shots. Cool

Volcano course...here's how you do it...

I don't know if any of you know it or not, but to auto align yourself with the hole, just hit the up arrow key.

So....stay put, hit up arrow key...give it 71% power, and you should have it. IF you have to try again, usually 38-42% (Not exactally sure on that...)

Ok, another one....Down the Hatch...easy course.

Here is a picture of the course...

Ok, this is what you do...go to the right, then move the aimer to the left, one or two clicks...give it about 60-67% power...might take a little getting used to the right spot to aim, but it WILL work.

Yet another one...

Here is a picture of the Hole In Fun...Easy Course also...

Ok, this is what you do...
Stay where you are at, don't move left or right. Then hit the Up arrow key to align yourself with the hole....about 42% power should do it...

What about Second Wind? I bet no one will be able to figure that one out.

Second Wind is definitely tough. I can often get the ball in the blue circle by hitting between 76-80%

I do notice some toons do not know about the up arrow key. This key will aim the ball directly at the hole (which is not always a good thing!). So, there is no need to be wiggling around trying to line up a shot most of the time.
