Anyone else get downgraded to a non paying account to test out? If not here are the fun facts.


You can only have the baby ship. All your TP access is locked out. I'm a lvl 17 and even my task is locked out. Quite a few of my weapon thingys have been locked. They did keep enough to do some good things though. Not too bad. Oh and the worst thing? Wide screen is locked so you are trying to play this game on a teeny tiny half screen and I can't even read the chat stuff. <-----wrote them about this part. Told them that if I was checking out the game it would not make me want to pay for more. I think this needs to be unlocked to really play the game even if you are not paying. Would turn me off real quick if I was trying it out.


Luckily my pirate is as is/was. Same stuff only with a little padlock on it. At least they didn't delete it.

Not sure how you would tell. I logged on and it doesn't say anything different. Of course my level 5 doesn't have those problems so you can just help me on my rocking ship.

Yeah they are testing the Limited Account feature (if you can call it that).

My account didn't get switched to limited, but what baby ship you talking nanner dearest? Light Sloop? Or all of the Light ships? (Sloop, Galleon and Frigate). If it is only the sloop, now that really really would be bad!

And nanner, when did you reach lvl 17 so quick? Didn't you say you were like 4, 5, or 6 the other day? Goodness me! I need to start working on my char. Can't....let.....nanner.....out do......me!!!!!!! Arrrgghhh!!!

I still have the unlimited account, I don't play it very much anyway, still debating on whether I want to get my very own cloth pirate map. They did say they may switch back and forth during the beta period...but I agree with you Nanner in that the little screens and what they are doing certainly wouldn't encourage me to get my own account. Sorry for you.

Yup you only can have the sloop for a ship and maybe up to level 2...or in some cases 3 of the weapon extras. I made a new pirate so I could try it out...since my bigger pirate task is locked. I hitched rides with strange men on their ships. LOL No I said earlier I thought I was a 14 or 15 but was wrong. From talking to others "on the docks" it seems that about 1/3 of the pirates have been switched. At least it seemed from the large group that was standing there. Hopefully it's only for a short time and if it hasn't happened to you yet feel lucky. It really does stink! Ahhhh Foot...my NEW pirate is a 3 MST you'd know....trust me! Not only from what you can/cant play but also it shows names above heads clearly now who is paying and who isn't. Looks like pay accounts are in gold (yellow)? and non pay is grey/white.

So now I have Li O'rage and the new tram....errrr....cute little pirate Jade Hearthazzard (her shirt is white...she is pure)


OHHHHHHH and I got notices yesterday! Well...I would have gotten notices but mid afternoon TT was going down and time ran out in the DA so we rushed thru and of course the invasion ended just as we got to the end. I was with randoms and the most they needed was like 500? Of course a new invasion, even though it was officially shut down, started AFTER we started to dance I need a few hundred more yet. Will get them today.
