ok so we got the newsletter stating the hunt is on for BB HQ. First clue is in Donalds Dreamland. Are those toons really a team that you would see walking around or am I just being totally silly!LOL!

Unfortunately, I haven't gotten the newsletter yet.  I almost never get my newsletter for the month until about 3-4 weeks into the month! There is a hunt for BBHQ?? Oh boy

The hunt for Bossbot HQ continues! But first, let's take a moment to meet Team "Let's Hunt Around And Find Bossbot Headquarters" -- and we hope they do! First up is the fairly fearless leader, Captain Rollie Dandysnooker. The mere mention of Rollie's second in command, Colonel Violet Supergrooven, leaves Cogs shaking in their boots! Next, we have a real master of Gag mayhem, Prof. Von Fumblesplat. Rounding out the Team is our lady of Toontelligence extraordinaire, Silly Lily Gigglesnout.
Team "LHAAFBBHQ" was last seen heading in the direction of Donald's Dreamland -- hopefully, investigating a clue and not for a nap! Let's wait and see with their next update!

It makes no sense to me.... sounds almost like an April Fools type 'article'. Was here a "hunting" article in last months newsletter since it starts off with The hunt for Bossbot HQ continues!.
Maybe if I put on my Toon hat it will become clear..... (runs to look for hat & uniform)

Heidi,
Look at your email/mail preferences for toontown on their web page. I had always said allow them to send me stuff, and I checked it yesterday online and it had been marked to NOT send me the newsletter by mail or by email. I was surprised at this. Maybe something updated and set it back to a default of not sending things via mail or email.

Hey, Thanks!  I will check that out...
*EDIT* Oh.............WHAT?  Well, sure thing. It was actually "checked" that I did not want newsletters and stuff, but I'm confused still. I still DO get the newsletters (in the mail more than e-mail), but I only get them about once every 2 months. What's up with that?

That newsletter makes no sense to me. I was at Toonfest, talked to one of the devs, he said Boss HQ is going to be off of Acorn Acres, I asked, lol... and of course we have all seen the entrance in Acorn Acres. The only thing I can think of is that possibly since Dreamland is the only neighborhood with only 2 streets perhaps there will be a street in Dreamland leading to Boss HQ or Acorn Acres? *clueless*
There is one more scenario that comes to mind, wild goose chase.

Did they say it would be off Acorn Acres? That's the first I heard about it being specifically said by the devs. Everyone assumes it will be, but that entrance does not say anything about Cog HQ like the entrances to Polar and Pajama did at the time if I correctly recall.... *clueless too*

They went to the once every 2 months format a while ago.....it use to be every month but I always got them a month too late

I'm with Scarlet on this one, wild goose chase. They are going to toss out carrots to us and lead us around for awhile until they figure out just what to do with Boss HQ. Also, are the TT devs also working on Pirates? Maybe they have way too many things on their plate right now.

Well....we are talking Disney here......If I recall certain park rides took months (years) longer than planned when they came out.....
I haven't had a chance to get on test lately and have seen no updates here. Anything hinting there? Has AA even added anything besides a lot of empty space?
One thing I took from the "clue" was the toons are hunting. Just because they said they were in DDL didn't mean that is where it is. They are looking for it....not that they found it? *shrug*
Personally I think they are going to milk this thing for awhile. They gave us mini golf and now going to take their time (hopefully for the better) giving us boss. Wish they'd release it on test and take their time there instead before going to open though. Not another rush job like law was.

Ahrrr, matey, we Pirates done Shanghaied the cogs what's buildin that there Boss HQ. We figure the cogs'll make a fine crew with narry a sense 'o humor, an all. No tellin how long that thar HQ'll be in the makin. My rum's on Disney havin ta find fresh recruits, an who knows when that ship'll come ta dock? A fearless crew huntin that thar HQ, huh? No mention o' a tracker in the lot! They'll be a month o' blue moons findin that place, no matter how fearless. None's so fearless as them "Testers", runnin all over just fer fun, I say. They ain't found it yet? An I reckon them's better'n Disney's hunters is. Ahrrr!
