Interesting. They think they are ready for prime time huh? Sounds like beginning of November they are planning to launch.
Well the game is playable. There are no major bugs that will prevent you from moving on in the game. Altho the lag is something to contend with. Even of low settings.
I am wondering if they are letting us be testers for free after the launch? Cause they said the beta testers will continue to have access to the test server. hmmm

Yeah and good luck with that download. I know one person that got in in a few minutes. Took me exactly 47 minutes with it stopping and me having to restart it many times to get it to download. Funny it looked exactly like Beta too! I was yacking with someone else while doing it and it took her about 5 min less than mine did.
Still so many bugs (I don't have a huge lag problem unless I'm in a horribly busy world...or ocean or whatever they are calling it this week) Lots of times my map is missing islands so I can't TP. Have to keep TPing either to people or Pt Royal or other places that are there and eventually it will show all the other islands. Last night people were having problems with all weapons working but the gun. Friend of mine has tasks coming up wrong and then never going away. She's getting quite a list of finished tasks in her little treasure chest. Oh and not to mention some tasks tell you to go one place when you really need to go someplace else. Beam of light that shows up when it feels like it.....
Ships still not showing your real health until it's too late. Many many more but I'm in a hurry this morning.
Sure....it's very playable at the moment but ready for open? Hmmmm not IMHO quite yet.
Are we ever going to be able to change our clothes?????

I am surprised they are allowing the beta testers to play test for free, while others pay to play on the live server. I mean, we are getting the same thing for free, except we get the new features first!
Seems unfair, but I'm not complaining. lol
The download and installing the updates for the test server took such a long time. Didn't know the game was so large. A good 300 MB download of updates after you install the game. Went to read a book while it updated.

Not sure that I will ever pay for this game. I have not bothered to download the test yet. I never got very far with my pirate, nor did my kids. We all were very disappointed in the amount of lag, and so would not play for any extended periods. Plus the fact that I have been too busy to start a whole new game... Oh well...

I have been given unlimited test and downgraded open, with the option to be a founder.
But is thinking just test, and maxing KP, TT is way too much fun and I put all that work into my toons.
I really like the pirates but TT is where all my friends are, cant abandon them now can I.
