So I'm trying to get Test to work with Vista. I figured I had to go through all the steps again, no biggie. I get to this step:

In Internet Explorer type: http://a.download.toontown.com/latestversion/InstallLauncher.exe, where "latestversion" is the current release version of the game. For example: http://a.download.toontown.com/sv1.0.24.24/InstallLauncher.exe. *Please be sure to check the Release Notes for the latest version.

So I do: http://a.download.toontown.com/sv1.0.30.19.test/InstallLauncher.exe because that's the latest test release info. Doesn't work though.

Can anyone help??? Was hoping to make a black cat!!! (last minute, I know.....)

So I did http://a.download.toontown.com/sv1.0.30.18/InstallLauncher.exe and installed the launcher, but nada there. Grrrrrr - starting to understand why Nanner went back to XP

LOL I was just going to say I never got it to work so can't help. Although for some odd reason I was able to get it to work ONE day. Never again. Very odd. Works great now though

I have another machine with XP, so I created my black cat there. Of course it wouldn't accept my first name (I see issues are going on), but hey, I'm on test now. We'll see just how fast I can work this black cat up.

Last thing I heard was that Vista was not working yet, That was a couple of weeks ago.

I play test on vista. Try this:
http://a.download.test.toontown.com/sv1.0.30.19.test/InstallLauncher.exe

Good luck! It's tricky but once you get it working there are no issues.

EDIT: grrr.. that doesn't seem to work either, hmmmm....

I found this that worked for me - woohoo!!! Got on test and so far so good on my Vista laptop.

In step 2, you'll want to do: "c:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" test.toontown.com/?source=toontownDesktopIcon

Include the quotes.



I already had the install launcher from a previous try, not sure if that helped me or not.

Hmmm that's what I did but it never worked. Go figure. Oh well I'll keep the XP on (poofing and all) until TT becomes Vista compatable....like ohhhh 2010?
