Does ne1 have my problem? At the DA, Bullion mint, CFO, cj, and a few times at the Vp, people will not go in with you because you dont have sound. If you have u might agree to having a group calle AOTAVRSU ( Allience Of Tons Against Very Rude Sound Users). We could have some runs of just people in AOTAVRSU in CFo, Fac,VP,CJ,DA, and Mints.Then we wouldnt be left at the elevator just because we dont have sound. One of my Great friends ran from the DA and advised me to also because i wanted him to go in the DA with me, and somke VERY CRUEL sound users told him u stink, please go away and we are in trouble after saying lets use sound. I for one was absoballyflippinlutely appalled at his behavior! Bcause wen i didnt leave he left my frinds list. That is why we should band together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! those are the gags we are against. We support all other gag use(actually we could even be OK with sound use if it was not a very rude sound user using it). Please answer the poll.

That's your opinion but I have several toons without sound. They are by far the most fun to play for me!

I can't stand when toons are rude to each other. It's their right to not play with soundless if they don't want to, but not to be rude. The fact is it's just as fast to do a run without sound, but only if the entire team knows what they're doing or at least is willing to work together. It's my opinion that most toons are too lazy and sound-dependent and would have NO idea how to play without it. No offense - just what I've observed!

I think some sort of group might be a good idea, not to be against sound but to learn to play without it. I can do a mint with anywhere from one to four soundless and it doesn't take any longer than with sound. But only if they know what to do. Which is why I don't do random runs.

i think thats a great idea and i have sound. but i have never seen anyone without sound. anyways.. does that mean that me npt having toon up is wierd? XD

Ok...I don't really have an opinion one way or the other but I voted no, before I realized that. I have sound on my main toon, I hate running the mints and DA's w/o sound though I have done them usuing minimal sound...it works as long as the toon w/o the sound can see the levels and hit the cog that isn't going to die with the sound gags used.

My uber (in training...will be forever I think) doesn't have sound and I wish I had picked it for her though.

It is all a matter of opinion I suppose and I really wouldn't be mean to a toon that chose not to have it, although I know of people that will not enter a mint/da if you don't have it...

The gas one chooses are their own. I myself choose based on my friend list. If I choose trap, I want to make sure there are friends who have lure, since it's a "double-step" to work (takes the trap and then a lure). Sound is no different. Or drop. To successfully work the gags takes friends who will work with me to work the gags. I've been snubbed before for lots of things... being too lil...having puny baby gags...making poor gag choices... you get the idea. Sound rocks when it works, and stinks when it misses. I have been caught with my gag bag down when a critical gag misses, and it was back to the PG all green and toothless.

Sorry to hear of the cold shouldering. Unfortunately, there's no rule that says a 100+ laffer has to be kind, patient, understanding, or selfless. The best that can be said is that the folks that post here and play are THE BEST I have gamed with. There's no figuring who will be diss'd because of their gag choices.

My encouragement... take the high road. If they won't go in with you, seek those who will. It'll be hard at first, but when all's done, you'll find the best toons or smartest ones, and then it won't be about the gags, it'll be about the fun. For an example, one of my friends has a toom and they don't carry TU. I wouldn't hesitate to go into a mint, fac, boss battle, or bldg. This person is a real cog-killin deadly gamer, and smart. I'd stake my toons life with them any time.

I'm with Doctor Goopy. Every gag has their +'s and -'s. I have friends that spans all the gags that you can be w/o. Soundless included. And my soundless friend w/o a doubt rocks. All of them rock for that matter. I, personally, wouldn't make any of my regular toons lureless. But there are some rocking lureless toons here that I wouldn't (and haven't) hesitate taking in to 4 toon cfo's or 2 toon mints. My wife chose to go lureless on her toon. I'm, currently, working on a toon that will be toon up-less. A first for me.

Maroon, choose your friends wisely. Don't friend on a spur of a moment. If you are in a particular district enough, you will see them again and again. Get a feel for how they play and see if it is compatible with the way you play, or can play. As a wise person once said, "To each their own."

I agree with goopy. Thanks for the help. I am currently making Thunder Struck a black cat. And they are to be TU less. I was inspired by some of the best players in the game. Many don't have TU like one my sister is friends with is Clam. I've seen these TUless toons kill cogs with the very best of 'em(that's because they are the best of them). I've been scared out of doing it for so long because i had been given the cold shoulder 4 not having sound so many times that i figured if they get that upset over me not having sound how angry are they going to be if i dont have TU? I mean like when a mutual TU is needed. But then it hit me like a frieght train. Those toons are never (or hardly ever)in mutual TU situations.Because their gags are so good the cogs don't have a chance to do REAL damage.
