oh I have the hardest time with pm's! LOL
When I click on the profile to pm it never goes through but if I go into my pm's( where it says your name and new and unread pm's) then start from there it works for me...... 
Oh and sometimes I have to do it a couple of times before it actually says sent!
I always copy and paste just in case...... I know sounds like a lot of work but thats just me!

At the bottom of their post is a button that says "pm"; click that and it will take you to a new blank message addressed to that person. Alternatively you can go straight to your PM box (top left of the page), click "new message" and type their name in.

Everytime I click on pm on the bottom of my screen it takes me to the screen where you type in your message but, when I go to send it doesn't send.
I have tried it several times now. Let me try going though my message box.

When I send a PM to someone, I usually click on their name and go to their toonfile (?) page and then click send a PM or whatever it says. Then it just pops up with the person I want to send it to already there. I haven't had any problems with them before so not sure why it isn't working for you. Although, I haven't sent one in a long time. Maybe I'll send one to someone and see what it does.
Edit: I just sent you one Bridgette so see if it pops up for ya.  It usually comes up at the top if you are online when it comes through or you can see it in the prillian as well.
