Went to pick up the boys from school...went to my mom's house, got dinner (Chinese take-out!), the boys got Burger King. Just finished eating, and am sitting down to a few minutes of relaxation. Later we'll have chocolate cake with "Happy Birthday" candles. See picture of what candles look like...(coolest candles in the world right?!?)
I'll save you a piece of cake if you'd like....heehee...only kidding!! With 5 boys, there won't be any left!!!!!!!!!!
I wanted to ask, does your toe feel better now? I thought about you several times today because I stubbed the heck out of mine. And my daughter just stepped on it! Yikes, and OUCH!!! But I didn't have to go to the ER, anyway. Hope yours is better!

Thanks for asking Kari, yes, my toe is getting better. It's still healing up, but still hurts even when LuLu walks on it (which she's done twice today!!).

It's almost to the point where it's stopped oozing (I know, lovely conversation for my birthday greetings... ), and I have a doctor appointment sometime this week to have the podiatrist check it again. He said it should take 6 - 8 months before things will look "kind of normal". For now, I'm still wearing non stick gauze and a bandage on it. (and still wearing my open toed sandals....it's getting cold!!)<----this sounds like something I should have blogged about!! (for those of you that don't know, my big toenail was ripped off 2 weeks ago...you can read my blog for the details if you'd like...)
