LOL, there was nothing in this forum. That just was too tantalizing to pass up.
I hate black jellybeans. They can ruin the taste of a handful of good beans. They are even worse than the weird flavored Harry Potter jellybeans.
I've tossed my glove down. Anyone want to parry?

I for the most part don't like them. They remind me of a cough medicine that I was forced to drink as a child, so they usually remind me of that and turn my stomach lol.

Hmmmph! I am frankly appalled by the deep level of hatred I see here for the poor black jellybean!! Black jellybeans have much to recommend them! Look in any store, especially around Easter time, you will see bag upon bag of ALL BLACK jellybeans. Someone must be eating them! Who are you to discount their feelings? And they can be very useful for baiting ant traps for instance. Or giving to your brother when your mom says you MUST share! She didn't say you had to share something GOOD did she??!
Now what I want to know is why did Jagermeister turn you off of licorice Hmmm SSS? A bit too much perhaps? That is actually the only way I can stomach licorice.
I just decided long ago when I took debate class that I would always take the other side in fun debates. OOF they made me argue the other side in subjects I was adamantly against.....so I can looby for black jellybeans I guess!!

I'm actually feeling a little sick just reading this thread. Several years ago a friend and I were at Damons sitting at the bar playing trivia on those TV things. The bartender was a friend of my friends and kept giving us shots of Jagermeister throughout the evening. That mixed with Bud Light is NOT a good combination. The bartender had to drive us home after they closed and made many stops along side of the road for me
To this day the smell of licorice makes me really sick!

I've heard of them being used for "Roach Redneck Games" such as "Jelly Bean Rolling" "Bucking Bean" for those big roaches down there in the Southern United States lol.
LOL.

Rofl, actually it wasn't Jagermeister, it was Sambuca (or however it's spelled) a clear thick liquid that tastes EXACTLY like black jellybeans.. So at first I loved loved loved it... Best stuff evah I thought.. Well one day, I decided I was going to drink that and nothing else... I think more poor body went into shock, I could hardly move felt like total dog doo doo, never did the ole heave ho though...rofl I remember my mom putting ice on all of my pressure points and it felt soooo darn good...lol
I'm not a big drinker to begin with, however if something makes me ill, food or alcohol, I never ever, ever touch it again. The smell of that stuff makes me sick to my stomach now... I can tolerate a black jellybean or two but it just brings back the feeling of being ill...rofl So another drinking experience spoiled...lol
I answered no, though, cause in my heart I still like the black jellybeans, it's my head that can't handle em...roflmao
You go Kari with the debate...lol It's a lost cause for me... Now if we were debating over red hots, oooooo weeeeeeeee you would have a fight on your hand....rofl

I am not a jellybean fan either but especially not the black jellybeans! Oh icky!! My three year old on the other hand, loves jellybeans even the black ones (matter of fact...this little girl loves beans in general...lima beans, green beans..go figure?) She says that "she loves all the jellybeans all the time" Can't argue with a three year old!

I don't mind the black jellybeans at all because I like licorice, but I don't like eating the black jellybeans with the other ones at the same time. Fruity flavor and licorice flavor simply do not match up to make a tastful delight!

Hmmm now that you put it that way it does sound better on its own! Dare I try it? Hmmm....If I can get them away from the roaches, perhaps....I give my special pet roach, Fred, all the black ones for his very own.

Hey! I've had wanted posters up for my lost pet for weeks. He woudn't by chance be brown, six legs, and about "yay" big??
Go ahead, argue as much as you want for the black jellybeans. I have to ask, and this in fun, why does it have to be a black thing???

oh my! After I posted the poll, I considered the politically incorrect implications of choosing black anything. But I stand behind simply this: black jellybeans are icky.
So to be PC, my favorite color is black, my car is black, black cats (real live ones) are the cutest, and blackened trout is a meal out of this world!
LOL, I like how Jagermeister and Sambuca entered the conversation too! Jager reminds me of Grateful Dead shows. Now that feels like a lifetime ago!
