OK now for the obvious question. WHY is there a speedchat PLUS? There is regular chat where everyone can see. Crew only chat and Guild only chat. We need another?
But thanks for the info. Have you figured out their reasoning for blocking certain words? Very very strange!

Who knows the mind of the developers at disney? We have been trying to figure them out on TT for years! lol
Varmint, they did more updates tonight (the 8th). They added secret friend codes this time. If you click on F key and click on Guild tab, you will see a button called Create Invite. Clicking it creates a code for you to right down.
Why it is under the guild tab, I have absolutely no idea.

I hope they "refixed" the lag and I hope my Laptop can run it....again. I got on about 10:15pm last night - The Bullwark flagship kept regenerating near me (Devils Anvil)... I must took it down 4 or 5 times in about 30 minutes....solo.
I got asked to be part of a guild and joined. OK - now how do I tell who is "on"? I would see some logoff (blue text) but they never looked to be logged on.
Crew chat... found that one last night too.

You can't tell which guild member is on when you come on. Which I think is dumb. You only see when they log in or log out, in blue text in the chat window. So each time I come on, I greet everyone in guild chat and see if I get a response.

Finding out who is on click the friends icon (can't remember which one....toward the top. Looks like a beer stein ) and you have choices of friends/guild and crew I believe. There you can see all. One thing I wish is you could be in more than one guild. Would be fun to have a TTF guild on top of the one I'm already in.

I thought I would be friends with the one who asked but no... he wasn't on the friends list. We just crewed together on about 4 runs. A run being a full boat of cargo (5 for him)
I thought about the guild chat... " Hi I was just added and now what?" He was an officer - are they the only ones to invite? He invited me then had to leave...
I'll try the code thing.... Nanner - will you be my friend?

Awwww yes I'll be your friend Shoot me a code or if I get on there first I'll shoot you one. Too bad a certain other person is only on beta/test/whatever. He could come play with us too. I haven't been back on there since open...well opened.
When you crew it's only a temp thing. Once you or they log off they'e gone. Friends or Guild stay until you remove them (or they remove you ) Yes, only officers are allowed to invite but they can make others in the guild an officer too. Hmmmm I was made an officer in my guild.......

Don't feel like paying for this buggy game right now. Gonna wait till it matures.
And I am pretty sure you can't see which guild member is online Nanner. Only your friends list shows which friend is on. The guild tab will show you a list of all guild members.

Well, this summer I might try another trial. I never plan on getting a paid account. I am too addicted to TT. Though POTC is fun. It just took forever to load with our trial. I would gladly join a guild for anyone on here.
