Tuesday Night - CFO - 11/13

More Info :

Any member and their friends are welcome to attend our boss runs / fights. We post daily as a reminder and it gives us a place to post who is showing up and what happened on the run. You don't have to RSVP...just show up. Play your best and use good teamwork to get the whole team to dance. Try not to shuffle. We will try to balance the load and go short.... meaning if 10 show up we will try to split into 2 groups of 5...just watch and be aware for how many are around the elevator. It may pull you out of your comfort zone but after a couple of short runs a full load (8 toons) will be boring. Let us know when you are coming and we'll watch out for you. The big toons will NOT leave you nor shuffle you out. If you loose and you want "Revenge", hang outside the Gag shop and look for the "Did You Win?" and "Play Again?" phrases. There are usually enough keyed/max toons around to run the boss run again.

Hmmmmm..... I MIGHT be able to make this! Smile "Adorabelle" will be in bed by then. Then again, I just might, too. Laughing If I do make it, don't count on Granny having her level 7 gags since her trees have developed some type of rare disease.... okay, okay, they've been neglected! Also, too, forgive an old Granny since her mind isn't what it used to be and she might have a lapse or two in her memory...

I went! YAY! I'm so excited to say I was there and that I lived (and barely got hurt at all!) how exciting!!! Getting going was a bit of a hassle. My son really gunked up the works.

When we first arrived there were a handful of toons ready to start the elevator and my son hopped on so I did as well. Then he hopped off. GRRRR! He was worried about having a short run. Soooo I jumped off because I didn't want him thinking I was leaving him behind. Then the second run got going and we both jumped on which gave us 7. He started freaking out that there weren't enough and that people didn't have big enough LP. He jumped off, so I followed him, and everyone followed both of us. Everyone got back on, and I joined them. My son didn't. His refusal left us with 6, but we went anyway! HA! I'm so proud of myself for going! I just kept remembering how awesome everyone on here is and how helpful and understanding... and I kept up the mantra "it's only a game. it's only a game." LOL

My teammates in the cog fight were AWESOME!!!! We rarely got hit at all and when we did it was no big deal. They were great!!! I will, however, fess up that once we got to the actual CFO my 8yo little girl took over the jumping for me! Mommy still panics when it's time to jump but I'm working on it! I just didn't think the big battle was the place to practice! LOL

Again, to everyone I played with tonight - Thank you so much!!! That was awesome! I will definately be trying again soon!

Sorry about the confusion last night. We got on with 7 then someone said to wait as someone else was coming. Then Plummer came on and wanted to come as well. So I went out to let him TP to me and then we stood there waiting for Mimi to come back, LOL. She wasn't coming back so I said well let's go in and see. Glad to see the three or four of you standing there. It did seem one was hesitant to go short so we all jumped off again to let the original jumper back on. Then after a "Let's go" we finally went with six. It was a very quick and easy crane round. We go with short loads all the time here and usually make it out just fine even going with only four. Pretty soon you'll feel like 8 is too easy. I was wondering who would crane with me and I didn't realize it was your wife's first time in Plummer. Yeah for her and she did it with 6!

And we got...

We did have a fun run! Miss Lily you did great! It is a great group of friends to play with. Let Tom Sniffledoodle know he is in good hands even on smaller runs! My mom had been trying to do random runs for a couple days and they were leaving her alone and stink her at the elevator I told her about our run last night and she came and had a blast! At the split she was on the other side I keep telling her she was ok! She was in good hands! Varmint was with her I know how sweet and patient he can be! She did great! And stomped her little green ducky heart out! I craned and wow I hit him several times! almost every time I throw at him! WooHoo crane training did wonders!!! Yippie!!!TTF is the BEST!

Yes - We go short alot... more fun and allows more people to attend the runs. It is nice to see a "large" group at these runs. Razz You never know/realize what you can do until you try it.... Once you go short you'll never go back....

First load was rewarded with Gag Up Drop....not sure why my Trapper gets Drop and my Dropper gets Trap.

Varmint is a mean nasty mouse! He trapped on trap and caused a Piano to miss.... stinky stinky toon. Evil or Very Mad

Glad everyone danced!

Oh - I agree for CFO, going with 8 gets a little boring Smile. At least with this crowd!!
When Miss Terri first went in, we had 9 for the second elevator so I told a friend I'd switch and help with merits.
Then, I was walking out and 3 toons rushed in. Then, MST was waiting for Plum R and then I have no idea what went on with you crazy toons!!!

Glad it all worked out Smile
Bad Varmit! And they said the rat was sweet and patient, too.

Not anymore Razz

Last night sure proved that some of us (OK Me)! needs another crane training! Since I kinda missed the first one and all..... We had poor welcome back Granny on crane and QueenMoMo gave it a shot or two and then I did (I hit NOTHING)! He had a helmet on his head most of the.....if you want to call it a battle? The cog round was fun but the actual boss part was pretty sad in there!

As MST said, we were a little late getting to the run. Thank you for coming out for us, MST. That was a fun run! I took my cute little duckie (72LP) to this event. I got sided with my BW and a green duck (sorry I can't remember name). As MST said this was BW's first CFO run. We made it through the cog round with very few hang ups due to a gag (or 2) missing. We didn't take that many hits either. We had good teamwork going on our side of the line.

The CFO round was fun. It was me and MST craning. I had my wife doing the stomping for me. MST got the kill shot on the CFO. You rock on that crane, MST!!

Then I had the honor of going back in on a revenge run. I got sided with CBBF, Aunt Trixie, and were you on my side Squeak E? Lureless all the way around. I thought that I would join in on the lureless fun as best as I could. I resisted using lure until some nanas were being slung out there. I heard some interesting Doodling tips during the cog round. Razz

The CFO round went pretty well too. I got to crane. It seemed to go by pretty quickly. With Nanner being there you know what we got!

*sigh* I should have KNOWN when I popped into CBHQ and Nanner said, "Great, now we're all gonna die!" was a dire prediction. Beth, Marg, Nancy, Tina... thanks for killing me off in style! Wink I couldn't ask for a better group of ladies for my welcome back death pah-tay. As I searched frantically in the PG for a quarter, Tommy so valiantly pointed out to Granny and her aging eyesight that it was NOT a quarter I was looking at but a nickel. And Kevin, thanks for the words of wisdom when I told him what happened: "You aren't supposed to go sad!"

JAJAJAJA! Regardless of the outcome, I had a great time and wished I could've stayed on much longer.

The puppies finally got thier 8900 bucks so we were thrilled to be able to bring them to a CFO again. It was a laff boost for us and in reward we got gag up drop. Guess we will have to wait for Nanner to use that reward since we are both trappers. Confused

Hmmmmm maybe it is a good thing we loaded with Varmint. We really wanted that laff boost and not to end up searching for quarters/nickels in the playground.
