Any member and their friends are welcome to attend our boss runs / fights. We post daily as a reminder and it gives us a place to post who is showing up and what happened on the run. You don't have to RSVP...just show up. Play your best and use good teamwork to get the whole team to dance.Try not to shuffle. We will try to balance the load and go short.... meaning if 10 show up we will try to split into 2 groups of 5...just watch and be aware for how many are around the elevator. It may pull you out of your comfort zone but after a couple of short runs a full load (8 toons) will be boring. Let us know when you are coming and we'll watch out for you. The big toons will NOT leave you nor shuffle you out. If you loose and you want "Revenge", hang outside the Gag shop and look for the "Did You Win?" and "Play Again?" phrases. There are usually enough keyed/max toons around to run the boss run again.
Going to try to make this one. Taking kid out to eat for her Bday but should (?) be home and have her in bed in enough time. Then again an excited little kid tends to stall at bedtime..... Hmmm stalling? Wonder where she gets that from?
Doubt I will make it tonite. I'll be going out of town. I am taking laptop just in case there is free internet service. But even so, I doubt that I will make it to tonite's festivities. If I don't, good luck to all!
Hey! We had two elevators. I believe 6 and 7 toons respectively. I was in the first elevator with 6 of us. It went swimmingly and we got sound restock - which is pretty cool (I know it isn't TU, but still.....)
Our stompers run their little toony legs off and keep us on the cranes going great!
Second elevator not only rocked! But we got.....are you ready for this?

That was a really fun run! Pretty hectic in there at the end though. Lisa was down to 11 laff! Glad we all made it though! I was doing fine laff-wise, thanks to some awesome stomping. Lowest I got was 70-something. Thanks! I was craning, but the problem was I spent most of the time with no safes. I think we had a new craner in the corner opposite me. That's no problem. I think it's great for newer players to try their hand and learn how it's done. It does take practice. But a bit of advice - the other craners need safes too, so even if you're having trouble throwing things at the CFO, if you find the safes piling up around you, try throwing some back to the other craners - they'll really appreciate it! And if you can't that's fine too, but then hop off the crane (by pressing 'ESC') and let someone else on. It takes quite a bit longer to take out the CFO if all you have to throw at him is goons. Especially when he's wearing a safe as a helmet - in that situation a safe is absolutely needed to knock it off, and we couldn't because we couldn't reach any. In the end I had to abandon my crane and hop on another where I could reach a safe, knock off his helmet, then throw a goon to finish him off.
It was still a fun run, and in some ways more enjoyable because of the heightened excitement, but we came awfully close to losing people and that wouldn't have been much fun.
I'm not sure when you will accept the fact that you are the jelly jinx Nanner. I haven't gotten beans the last five TTF runs which is probably my best streak. Our CFO was great and Dippy was happy to be sided with LVTP and Miss Bananswirl for what always makes for a fun run. Even if ya'll stink. Although I was sure we would get beans with you there LVTP, I guess you passed on the crown.
I'm sorry but I can't claim fame to the title of Jelly Jinx as 3 CFO's ago we did get gag up squirt and not long before that we got drop and lure. (I remember the lure one well as Bill was thrilled with our prize and actually said he'd rather have beans ) I do think it could be HIM! I seem to always be on the elevator with him and well....you do the math! If I was truly the jinx wouldn't it be 100 percent beans? All beans all the time?
Um Kevin... I fully accept responsibility - I think I was the toon that was opposite you without sending you some safes. Can't remember clearly now, just that it was someone "blue" near me and I know Nanner hopped on the other crane opposite of me. Usually I crane better than that and am more considerate of sending safes over to the other toons.
We really had NO goons coming out our side. Made it tough to stun him, then the safe was crazy glued!!
Billy and I were thrilled to get beans - we each have ubers who are in need and can't get to the beanfests anymore We haven't gotten beans in awhile, so we were happy to load with Nanner lol

Nope Lisa, I'm pretty sure you were to my left. My post wasn't meant to criticize though, I just wanted to offer some (hopefully) helpful advice to a new (I think) craner.
