Tim to do that shopping, have a nice cup of hot chocolate, and.... well what do YOU think Christmas time is all about? I will start. Well nt to be religious but it is a birthday and there will be a second coming on that day.Now away from the religious stuff the REAL DEAL. Presents. Please do not post about that first one it was just to make sure no one brings it up and hijacks the thread to that so--sorry rambling wasn't I.

Christmas to me is a time for everybody to celebrate our religion. Of course the exquisite food and presents play a role in this festive day.

Aside from any religious themes, I love the whole month of December.
It is a time to do special things with people that you don't make the effort the rest of the year.
Lots of shopping in stores that are all decked out for the season.
Christmas concerts at school.
Homemade cookies

I kinda already answered this topic under the "traditions" thread, but MissPoutyFace made me think of another reason I love December and Christmas... People, strangers, are more receptive to a smile, a hello etc... during this time, more than any other time of the year. I enjoy that!
Other than that, I feel it SHOULD be about Christ/religion, family, friends, being thankful, doing good deeds and not being found out for them, volunteering in the community, love, love and more love, traditions and FOOD!!!

The truth is with the messed up world we live in I id not want to get banned from the site for offending anyone that has a DIFFERENT religiuos belief. I completely agree with Queen Thunderthud. Oh shoot I brought up another topic didn't I with all this messed up world talk. Heck maybe that would ofend people too.Maybe people being offended by certain things could offend other people.This could lead to an endless chain...  Look a bannana on a podium. What I'm wrong! That offends me the fact that someone accused me of being wrong.  To court with you matey.Arrgh I lost in court. That offends me.  Hey I'm off topic.So what.  Why should I care?
