Yay! Boss Bonanaza!
I know I have soooo much to do this weekend, but I am already mentally configuring an alternate schedule, so I can attend some of the runs.
Thanks so much for hosting these events! Your efforts are very much appreciated.

My favorite event! I'll be on most of the day since I got most of my RL stuff done today. I have a friend needing platform shoes from Holly's and we'll both be sure to make first VP. Hope to see everyone there, with invasions all weekend, refilling merits/bux/JN's for next battle will so much easier!

Thanks for a great day so far. I managed to hit all boss battles from 10 am my time (noon central time.) Not sure if I'll make it to the 6 pm ( Cool

one because we are cooking dinner, right now. I've had a fabulous time. Spike got to do his 3 rd VP and ran with 5 people. [color=yellow]Test toons are awesome![/color

Silly really wants to do the CFO in a half an hour. Hope it works out!

Thanks to everyone who came out to play yesterday, and to all the toons who donated beans at the beanfests. I had more fun in a couple of the VPs than I knew was possible.

The Boss Bonanza was so much fun! I was just bummed out that RL had so much to do, that I couldn't have played more... Omg, lmao... That midnight VP was SOMETHING ELSE! So there was Skip, Lady Di, Lila's new 55 laff toon and me... I was SO worried when Lila and I got sided together, that I would send her packing back to the playground green. Omg... To make LILA, of all toons, go sad... Is like... I dunno... It's like the most untoony thing one could do! I was so worried about my lure failing and only 2 toons for the cogs to take their revenge out on, if it did indeed fail... Which it did. We did make it through, with Skip and Di killing their cogs and making it over to our side to assist.

Second round I was with Di and all seemed fine on the other side.

Now the pie round... Will somebody please tell me WHAT was up with THAT???? WHY wouldn't it acknowledge that a barrage of pies were indeed hitting in that door??? I had Lila's toon pulled up on my screen to monitor her laff and ran over to toon her up... As soon as I would think I was in position and start to pie her, she would run away! I'm over here yelling, "No! Lila! You need a TU! STOP! Lila! STOP!" Reposition after catching up to her, throw a pie, "HEY! NO! Don't run away!" LMAO. That VP just refused to take the pies and kept jumping back up and swinging like there's no tomorrow.

My 18 year old son, who had appeared on my doorstep in tears over just breaking up with his girlfriend of over 2 years, was now sitting in my office, on my couch, watching this since the beginning of round one. I am apologizing to him, giving him hugs in between gag choices, asking what happened w/said girlfriend and explaining that I can't just QUIT to console him and let 3 toons/ppl behind the toons, DIE. He's saying, "No, Ma, I understand... It's not like we ALL haven't played this game."

... SO back to the pie round, which now has my son who walked in distraught and thinking his life is OVER without his girlfriend, is now laughing hysterically and asking, "Do you have ANY SANE friends?" He said, "Mom, that dude keeps throwing himself under the treads. Is he TRYING to die?" I click on Skip's laff. 37?!?!? Shocked

And there he goes, throwing himself back under again. There's Di tossing out Unites left and right. Here's me chasing Lila trying to pie her and chattering away at my monitor, as though anybody could hear me... There goes Skip back under the treads of the VP. In between ALL of us are pieing the door like crazy! When it would TAKE the pie, and he turned red, it would only last for one or two pies to his melon and back to square one! It was CRAZY. OMG, it was hysterical!

We made it through, however... I just don't think I have ever been in an HOUR LONG VP before! My face HURT from laughing for so long and so hard!

Do it again next month?
(BTW... I know you weren't running away on purpose, Lila... I am sure major lag was going on and we weren't seeing the same thing... LOVE YA!)
