I'm thinking of moving my kid from a paid to a free account but want to know what exactly she'll be able to do. What I think I know is that she'll only be able to be in TTC? Can she still race and golf? Ride the trolley (but only in TTC)? Yes I know only 2 toons and hopefully if I do this she can pick which ones.

Bottom line is she's 6. Doesn't fight cogs but runs around doing all of the above. Any laff or gags I have gotten her.


What else besides freedom to roam (and boss stuff) is taken away? Can I still send her cannons and can she still shop etc?

I have no clue, but what a great idea to do for the little ones. I'm willing to set one up this afternoon and test it out, and let you know!

OK, my kids are happy campers right now.

They each have their own free account with their own 2 toons. They are not thrilled about staying in TTC but they still have their old toons on my accounts.

I was able to gift them cannons and clothing and anything that is giftable. I don't think they can buy much for themselves. They can only race on one track, I think (it was Grand Prix time so I couldn't check). They can play on the trolley.

i used to have a free acouunt(before i started paying for it) its ok but the free is very limited you can only stay in TTC, you cannot golf(you have to go to donalds dock which you cannot do in the free, you can race because its right by TTC(sometimes you cant but you can sometimes,but you cant go on the grand prix) i feel that the free is very limited and toontown is ALOT more fun when you pay for it. i am not sure what the max laff is for free(maybe 30). yes you can still ride the trolly but only in TTC. . oh and heres a usefull link that shows you all what you can and cant do in free http://toontown.stratics.com/content/gameplay/trial/

Hmmm she'd be upset about the golf but is that really worth what an account costs a year to a kid who doesn't play that often? Darn wish I had thought of this before golf came out. She wouldn't know she was missing anything. Wonder if she'd be able to keep the things she has already. Guess I'll call and ask after the new year. Thanks! Glad to help make happy campers Z
