LOL, well, let's just say my 'team' lost in the first round.. I'm a Steelers fan actually, and now they're gone.. Up until Sunday, I had two teams still remaining that I like. The New York Giants, and the Indianapollis Colts. Well, the Colts lost and the only team left I don't DISPISE is the New York Giants. They are one of my favorite teams, and I am going for them all the way! I want the Pats to lose no matter what, but doubt the Chargers will be even be a threat...
So, my prediction for the Superbowl:
New York Giants vs. New England Patriots
A remacth of the final game of the season..

Well I can not vote as you said who is YOUR team and my awesome 4-12 Chiefs didn't make the list. So that said the Chargers are a fellow AFC west team so I'm leaning towards them. I don't want the Patriots at all although you bring up an interesting debate between Favre and Brady. Hmmm, new poll maybe. And no not which is the better quarterback. Not a big Manning Bros fan either. I'd kinda like to see the Giants vs Chargers just for something different. Like someone else said my team is out so I just see how I feel during the game and decide who I'm rooting for.

The Detroit Lions are out of it....isn't that a joke?!? They always are. Heehee. Since Barry Sanders left, they just haven't been the same. ALTHOUGH, I have to say, that this year they seemed to be doing a bit better, they still aren't ready for any kind of playoff series, let alone the superbowl!! LMAO!!!
So...next best thing?!? Green Bay Packers.

Define "OWN"? LOL
I have one in my house at the moment to send to a good friend in the Boston area who is a huge Pats fan. When they are in the super bowl I send her a WI (Packers) gift package of cheese and stuff to use while watching the game. She has a sweatshirt so I thought this year I'd send her a cheesehead. She'll get the hat even if the Pats lose (yeah right that's gonna happen)
Do I, or anyone I know, actually own one themselves and wear it? Nope!!!!!!!
BTW the last time the Packers won a super bowl I was living in FL and watched the game at Disney in Pleasure Island! If I remember correctly they played the Pats that year (too)
OK MST change the question to: WHO IS YOUR CHOICE TO BE IN THE SUPER BOWL?

I have to say I'd like to see a bunch of Cheese Heads in the stands. I think they make the best fashion statement.
Mmmmm - is there any other criteria I should be using to judge. I know what Brett Favre looks like, but not sure about Brady. Maybe I'll have to look into this question further.

Since the Crash-N-Burn boys rolled over for the Giants, I'm most interested in the approaching commercials. Is that bad? Guess i'll go with the Packers, cause they were my team of choice back when I was in Arkansas. And I do enjoy seen all the Cheddar Headers too.
I wonder what those hats would look like fried...

Just an FYI for the Giants fans. The famous ice bowl was minus something horrible degrees. Thirty something I believe? (without windchill temp) Right now they figure Sundays game will break records and come in as the 2nd coldest game to ever be played in GB. The news just now said it is expected to be minus 2 at kick off with minus 20 windchills. I do believe my 2 siblings were trying to get tkts from a friend. Personally couldn't pay me enough to be there live and in person in this kind of weather!
Wear your long undies for the game if you are watching!
Hmmm fried cheesehead hats? Nummmmy! Breaded (beer batter of course) melted fried foam. A taste treat for sure! (and no I don't believe I'll be modeling the item. Would mess up my hair )

I think this poll is rigged! Am I to believe we have no other Pats fans here???? Although I am truly a Bills fan, my Bills have taken the rest of the season off. Since I lived in Mass achusetts for 10 years and my husband and kids are all fans, I am a Pats fan for the rest of this season anyways. If memory serves me right, there are a few members here that hail from the Bay State, home of the 3 time(soon to be 4) Superbowl champs - where is that New England spirit?. I am rooting for the Packers this weekend since I still haven't forgiven the Giants for what happened in Super Bowl XXV (the year of the wide and right as we Bills fans call it). If it ends up being New England vs. Green Bay, Nanner and I will have to have some kind of side bet. Maybe have her mess that hair up and post a pic of herself in that cheese hat!

Now that I would like to see. Now what is Queen Mo Mo gonna do if the Packers win??
I had to vote San Diego just cause I like those that don't make it that much unless my team manages to make it. Though if my brain is working correctly didn't Green Bay beat Kansas City in the first ever SuperBowl. I think KC's last one was 4?? Of course, this is relying on my memory.

So Nanner, the game is tomorrow, shall we set up some sort of bet?
What's the deal with all the stupidsticions?!?! Changing the name of Broadway, taking the Seinfeld episode off the air (since Eli Manning likes Seinfeld) and more?!?
Tomorrow will tell!! Of course I really laugh because the Giants aren't REALLY a NY team.

Hmmm what stupidsticions? Nothing I've heard of yet. Only thing I heard of is they changed the dates/times of some RV/Camping show at the nearby convention center due to parking issues and well...nobody would be there on Sunday
Hmmm something simple but possibly interesting? If we win you have to use an avatar/location of MY choice for a week and if Arizona freezes over and you all win I'll use ones of your choice? BTW hope your team is bringing Arizona cuz if today is any clue to what tomorrow will bring they'll need it! (and so will we)! BRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! Kid wanted to go out earlier and play. It was minus 13 (without windchill) Ummm I said no!

GREEN BAY, Wis., Jan. 17 (UPI) -- A TV station in Green Bay, Wis., is trying some psychological warfare by depriving Giants quarterback Eli Manning of his favorite program, "Seinfeld."
WLUK, the Fox affiliate, posted a notice on its Web site, the Star-Ledger of Newark, N.J., reported, proclaiming "Fox to Manning: No Seinfeld for you."
"We don't want to give any comfort to the enemy whatsoever when they come into town," station manager Jay Zollar said. "We know laughter is good medicine, and we decided we're not going to give that to him."
The winning team in Sunday's Giants versus Packers game gets a trip to the Super Bowl.
WLUK is holding a vote among viewers to decide on a replacement for the Saturday "Seinfeld" episode. The choices include a "MASH" rerun, an infomercial and a special on Vince Lombardi with a title designed to lure Cheeseheads, "God, Family and the Green Bay Packers."
