Training a 2 Tracker
View Single PostView Single Post

I have a 2 tracker in the works. I want to work his gags a bit more. I've got good friends that will help if they are online, but I don't want to exhaust them in the process. I have 2 accounts. One account that has my main toon (Bear Lee Here) and the other account that houses my wife's lureless toon. My uber is on my main account with BLH. So any training I do on my own would be with a lureless toon on the other account. With those details in mind, what is better way to train a 2 tracker:

    1. Sellbot HQ - Take out larger cog first?
    2. Lower level buildings
    3. On the street?
    4. Or pester your friends for assistance.
    5. Or beg your wife to move your 2 tracker to her account wher another uber already resides? Smile

As always, any assistance is greatly appreciated.

You are missing SOOOO many options! What about:

6. Bribe daughter to work 2 tracker after school before you get home. Offer to do her homework in exchange.
7. Open third account, get another computer - better yet, two more accts & puters.
8. Pay some dude in another country $100 to max your 2 tracker (they do that on other MMORPGs, which is incredibly funny if you ask me)

Let's see, I'll come up with more, if you like. Smile

1st 2 tracker I had was on same acct as my big toon, so I just worked Donald's Dock /Daisy Gardens 2-4 story bldgs for while. This was before invasions / before level 7 gags. You can get thru level 4-5 gags just getting your suit.

You don't neccesarily need another really big toon on 2nd acct if you build a 2nd uber with lure. Maybe you can talk your spouse into building a 4 track, sound/lure Uber!

I used to run a 34 laff, TU/lure uber w/ my 2 tracker thru most things, and often no one would bother us.

9.Ask Disney to max your suit and gags and get a response saying try updating your graphics card Very Happy .
10.Study gags in the Toontown Library.
11.(Real answer I swear) Do a mix of all the above (not nessicarily excluding humorous responses).

That is how I worked my 3 track uber... used the 4 tracker and no one would load or hassle you... The 4 tracker was in the process of a couple 5500 merits so I mainly used the factory. Buldings will get the gags higher with the bonuses... I stuck to DG and DD for 3 or 4 story buildings in the invasion district. Brrrrgh and DDL seemed to be heavily used and harder to find buildings...

Factories... you can "pre" lure the cogs before enaging to make sure you survive...buildings don't give you that chance....

You take little baby and a big dude (with lure) into the factory. Big dude lures while baby stands way back where it's safe (because if lure misses and baby's standing there in the toon line-up, baby will likely die--I've done that one too many times). Baby waits til the cogs are safely lured, then joins in and helps with the "killing" (hmm, there's something wrong with that picture). I call it "cosseting" the baby. Smile (and I do it with my babies, too)

I worked Solitude before I was able to run 2 toons. I mostly just took out single cogs in the streets and ocassionally ran into bldgs with randoms. Slow and steady.

Some will argue that buildings are better for gag working, but not if you turn green. You can easily get close to 200 on both squirt and throw in a risk free factory. Plus you get the free beans so you don't have to go to your estate and lag to fill up. I'd be happy to escort ya through a few, just give a shout.

Aw yes- but how long does that factory take? In fact, I remember one factory where you were running two. The pace was killing me. I left and still made 400 skill on both throw and squirt in 2 buildings before you were finished in the factory. My 15 isn't maxed yet, so with no 7s he can afford to go sad a few times. A lot more than my patience can afford to be tested crawling through the factory.

It's all in what works best for you. Factories ARE safer. Buildings ARE faster. As long as you know what damage is done by what cogs and you have a good lurer, I have found buildings relatively safe.

If you are looking for fast AND safe, you'd better get a toon with lure as an escort!
Without lure, not sure if your 2-tracker is going to make even odds in the final cog fight. My 34 laffer often goes sad at the Foreman when lure fails. Knowing you are going to have the chance to take at least 3 hits there is pretty dicey.

I think it was more the running of two toons than the fact that it was in a factory that took so long Confused

But in order to get 200 skill points in the factory - you have to run 2 or have some VERY patient friends. There fore - I still say it takes way too long!

Love ya sweetie! toothy4

We ran a couple of medium factory runs....with using only the Throw restock in the lobby area so the runs were quick and no gags where left... 186 for throw and 96 (or was it 89) for squirt. We did 2 runs fairly quick.... I needed 550 merits and got them. Do you remember the numbers?

Note he was carry Cream Pie and Hoses. My toon had clouds and cakes so I was getting higher numbers.

I think it was 89 Varmint. So about 360 on throw and 180 on squirt. Not bad for 2 runs. It was fairly quick. I must say that you running 2 toons was seamless. You couldn't tell that you were running 2. BTW, I wanted to Thank You, again, Varmint for the armed escort through the factory.

For lure, throw, and squirt, I prefer workin facs. When gags reach the point where one has cake and cloud that will kill a lured lvl 7 cog, the credit numbers go up considerably, and a toon with lure can solo the fac and consistently get 150 credits for throw and squirt in a single run. I use this strategy on my test pig Lard Bucket, and when I need a lvl 7 throw or squirt replacement, three facs and a short yields the need AND my necessasry merits. And yes, there are the FREE beans.

Workin a two-tracker, I'd suggest askin Disney (with wife's OK) to swap her Uber and yours between accounts. That way either of you could assist the other in their Uber-growth efforts easily, by workin together or double-drivin Varmint-style. That way, neither toon gets deleted and both can get their necessary attention.
