Toon Town on TV
View Single PostView Single Post

Yeterday I walked i after running some errands and the Fox News Live channel was on TV. And there was Toon Town!!! They were talking about Disney making virtual games for kids.. Hee hee I was thinking... Obviously these anchors have never played or else they would know kids come in all ages and they would be playing TT on their laptops in between news stories! LOL...
It made me want to jump right online and start playing.. but all I have to do is walk in a room where the kids are playing and hear TT and I'm drawn into it! will my house ever be clean again??

In 10 years from now, will it matter if your kitchen was clean??
No! Not if you have a maxed toon to show for it Smile

I wish I could have heard the story. They should do a 20/20 on the addictiveness of these games.

I've played TT with friends, and to make sure that we do get our housework done, we'd take breaks...."I'll be back in 10 min, gonna do the dishes real quick..." It sure made getting some of those tasks done when we all took the break at the same time. (It was also in the days that you could keep yourself jumping or swimming, and not lose the invasion district)

I also read that the Cartoon Network is developing an online game for kids from ages 6 - 14 years. I don't know much about it but it is suppose to launch this year and has something to do with interacting with some of the Cartoon Network cartoons. Has any one heard about that?

I am a huge Disney fan so I doubt that I would even check that out but I didn't know if anyone else would be interested?

Thanks for all the funnies guys... *You make me Laff*!
But honestly.. you should know.. the dirt doesnt bother me! Going to the grocery store and wasting 2 hours of precious TT time now that bothers me! Ha ha ah I keep waiting to hit the lottery.. My friend hit the megamillions last year... *when* I hit, I'll have my People take care of the RL stuff, til then.. I'll just keep tripping over the clutter and restarting the dryer til the wrinkles come out!
I havent seen anything about cartoon network games.... But I havent been looking either! Maybe my boys know something about it...

Luckily, the new generation of children that WE are bringing up is much more understanding to what "a kid" really means. My son thinks it's "awesome" that adults are playing TT, cause they're "smarter" and "help you have fun". He'll gladly pick up the mess so that I can work his next gag up or finish a toon-task he gets stuck on. (Been bugging me lately to get another account, so we can be SF and play together, Very Happy ).
You're right! None of the chores will be remembered in the future, but we'll have our games to talk about when I'm bald and wrinkly... headbang
