| Lady Petunia Purplepop : | | But what struck me as funny this morning and definitely confirmed that I need a life is that here we are discussing animal noises and which is our favorite or not. Is there something askew about this discussion??? |
ROFL!! Well, we could throw something profound into the discussion, just to keep the askewedness at bay! Whenever I have a relatively serious conversation on TT, I'm always not far from laughter at the sight of my cat, meowing away in that awful voice, throwing pies at virtual robots, trying to get a serious point across!

ROFL!!! Oh no you hit too close to home here, too funny. Though I don't necesarily think that attractive would be the word that I would use...but some of those toons out there are just too hot!!! Sorry couldn't reisit that, I don't think that but had to say it...cute maybe but um hot or attractive, um not so much. What a hoot! Or I guess in my toons case it would be what a quack!!

I have to agree with Bill's post on Page 1. I mean no offense to anyone who drives bears, but when they start that Grunt-gurgling, I really think they must be all tanked up on bad honey or something,

I will just have to say ducks..........well, I really do love the quacking noise, but ya know, during battles when all you hear is "quack quack quackity quack quack", it gets kind of annoying. Don't get me wrong though, I have many friends who are ducks and they rock, but it's just the over and over "quack quack quack." Hee hee! When my mom hears the ducks quack, she starts quacking along with them because she thinks the noise is hilarious!

I'll have to get my psychology textbook out again. There was a topic relating to emotions and one section of that chapter discussed meeting up with a bear and how your body would react with the three different theories of emotions discussed. Only reason I really remembered it as it related to the bear and this topic was fresh in my mind.
Of course the discussion topic that was about that part of the chapter had to do with being chased by a three headed dog... Maybe my Professor plays TT?!?!

Now I'm curious - how am I supposed to react when meeting a bear?

Oh definitely! As real as the nose on Midnight Rose's face!! I mean, think about it. All the same dynamics are at work that you'd see in any group of people getting together! (Or maybe I should say an unusual group of people getting together?) I actually think it's a total hoot to realize that this pushy random I'm in the DA's office with is JUST LIKE (fill in name of whoever). Or I'll stand in the PG a minute and watch the interaction between two angry toons--talk about "people watching" with a seriously bizarre twist! HEH!

I don't find any of the toon sounds that annoying. My daughter giggles every time a bear grunts/belches. I agree with someone else here and say that cats do sound the most authorative and self confident of the group.

"Authoritative," "Self-confident" -- I like your descriptive words!!! (So much better than "bossy," "pushy," "domineering")

Gonna have to go with bears here. When I first made my bear on test, all my friends asked me to please only whisper to them so they wouldn't have to listen to it. That's also when I started playing with the sound turned off . . . BREAD
On the other hand, I just love the mousie squeaks. They are just so darned cute!
