Hi TTF's:

My new Special Friend Sandy Preciouspoof, suggested I join TTF. I have been watching your posts for 4 months, but have not registered so I haven't sent any messages. I started playing TT last summer. My granddaughter was playing with her Mother and Father. They live 1000 miles away. When I visited, she wanted me to watch her play. Within a week after returning home, I bought a 1-year membership. Her toon and mine play together at least twice a week, long distance. TT has been a blessing for a long-distance grandmother. People in my generation did not grow up with video games or computers. (I am 69 years old!) At first I had trouble figuring out how to make my toon, McFidget, perform. My granddaughter has helped me a lot. "Oh, Grammy, it's easy. Just do this...." Everything I knew about Toontown (before I started reading your posts), I learned from a 5-year old. I have learned so much more from TTF. I'm thrilled to have found you. And McFidget -- though she is a bear -- is proof positive that you can "teach an old dog, new tricks!"

Hello there! Nice to meet you! I blame my kids for getting me started, but I have no one but myself to blame for getting me addicted to TT! Very Happy

ROFL...no one to really blame for the addiction here either; though I can and still do blame princess boo boo (my RL best friend) for getting us started with TT and now do my kids still play? Um, no...its all me!

Welcome Welcome!! Told you this would be a good place for you. You are among adults who know that this game was not really designed for children but for us adults to escape our children.

Make sure you join us for our daily runs. They are posted by our wonderful mods each day. We will have you maxed in all your suits in no time. That is IF you ever finish all those buildings. LOL

Awwww....love your story. You should send it into TT!! Very Happy

I had my kids helping me in the beginning. I just couldn't make it across that gear room in the mints, and I'd call for them to come and help me. LOL! Eventually I got the hang of it and learned of glitching. Very Happy

Welcome to Toontown Friends and Toontown. I'm 47 and my wife is... OK, never mind that. On to the important stuff, right?...

We started playin because our children wanted to. Since we police what they get into, it was the "right thing to do", makin a toon and testing the play and all. I guess we're not the first ones to take over the kids' accounts. It's been a HOOT for the most part, and the best is hanging with the folks who are members here on TTF. Are they...
Helpful? You bet!
Friendly? The best!
Smart players? Top Shelf in any book.
