Emailed Toontown customer service for the 5th time today. We have still never received our initial mailing package, or a mailer of any kind since we joined back in March. When I first contacted them I was told it had not been 8 weeks yet so contact them after that.
Since then I have now( counting this morning) emailed them 4 times more about the problem. Our kids have never seen a mailer, a sticker, a card nothing that was promised in the signup package.. The only responses I have received were the general form letter about DRIVER PROBLEMS.
My Computers drivers have somehow prevented them from putting our signup package and newsletters in the mailbox?
Wow the power of computers these days, you get a technical error when someone at Disney cannot address and mail a package.
Sorry just venting as not only can they not fix a memory leak after 4 years, but now they cannot even mail the new user stuff out.

It took them 6 months to mail out our initial welcome packages....we had 3 accounts and they all came at different times. So, sit back and wait...

Joined 9 months ago, no package on my Loopy Nickelgoose account. Nothing on my newest account either, but to their credit, it's only been 2 months. I cannot remember if we got a package on the account we started over 18 months ago for my kids.

I have had one account for almost two years and still no mailer. We have had our second account for just over a year and once more no mailer. I have emailed them countless times and have even had my case "raised to the next level" whatever the heck that means.
I have given up on them obviously they don't like our family or maybe it is Canada they don't like since we are in Canada but then I see you are in the US and having similar issues.
I can never figure out Disney and I am no longer trying too.

I don't even know what a welcome package is! I haven't got one yet either so it must be really really slow.

If you go to www.toontown.com, and got to "edit member preferences"(or something like that), there is an option on wheather or not you want to recieve toontown mailings and newsletters

The Welcome package is supposed to be your first monthly mailer, gag trading cards, stickers, and some other informational items for new players. Then they are supposed to send you the monthly newsletter via mail too, not just the update sheet you get in email. Our kids have been driving us nuts daily since we signed up as nothing has come.

When I paid for a year on my Loopy Nickelgoose account, I was supposed to get a little Toontown notebook, obviously with no welcome pack, I haven't gotten that either.

I get the cards and news letter in the mail, but I never got stickers or other items. That stinks!

In all my years of playing, I still haven't gotten a welcome package. The only mailer I got was a paper on the dangers that lie within Sellbot HQ, which I tossed aside in favour of discovering it for myself. Three cards is it for my collection.
Disney doesn't like shipping to Canada, apparently.

OK I joined back in Dec. 07 and I also received nothing so I also gave a ring a ding to toontown and I got the story of I must have had the opt out of the mailing list and she looked and said "well no it's not checked that you didn't want mail,I don't know what happened,I'll put it thought and it will take up to 6-8 weeks for you to receive you welcome package and newsletters"so I guess I'll wait and see if it shows up

I remember it took many, many months to receive a pkt with a welcome letter, a page of TT stickers, a few trading cards and a small poster of some sort. Since then, I do receive their newsletter with some trading cards, but always AFTER the fact of what is printed in them, lol. ie: The Christmas lights are up around TT and then I get the Halloween addition.
I get 2 mailings, one per each paid acct. If I had kept any of the stuff over the years, I would even offer to pack 'em up and send them to you... But after the initial excitement of opening the envelope when it comes, I realized nobody was looking at or using any of the cards for anything, (I'm really the only one left playing), so I toss them in the recycle bin after the kids are done looking at them.
I hope they get your stuff out to you soon! I'm sorry so many of you have been let down by Disney. That's just not right.

My hubby started a 3rd account in March and we haven't gotten anything yet either. He has emailed and the last answer he got was that it hadn't be 8-10 weeks yet. We weren't sure what calendar they were following? We are looking for a contest prize we earned in March too. Must have been a rough month. Maybe someone tore April off their calendar and now they are all confused?
