OK, so I looked around the tech forums to see if these question had been answered before, and I couldn't find it. Forgive me if they are answered somewhere else...
Whenever I come to TTF I check the Posts Since Last Visit Link. Almost every time I click it, even if it does have a number by it, it reads: "No topics or posts met your search criteria." It is not completely consistent... sometimes it does work. But, more often than not, if I want to read what is new on TTF I have to go through the forums and find them myself.
Also, sometimes after deleting my cookies, I come back to TTF and enter in my information. Sometimes I have to do this two times before it lets me in, and almost every time I check the blogs or the forums I am somehow logged off again. I always select the "Log In Automatically" button too... I don't get it. I use firefox mostly, if that is important information to know.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

When I log in, I go to the New Posts button on the top line. Usually I have no problems with it. I do get that "No topics or posts met your search criteria." when I click things too fast.
No suggestions on the auto log in or the logging out when you click into blogs. I don't use auto log in.

This happens to people now and then. Brady will have to be the one to answer it.
The only thing I can think of as far as Firefox - if you didn't tell it to remember your password, that may be the problem. That's one reason I don't like Firefox, although I don't recall it being THAT annoying. Have you tried through IE? Did you get the same results?

There are a couple things that cause this.
Logging into the wrong url: Make sure you are using www.toontownfriends.com and not just toontownfriends.com
Caching Servers: Some ISPs have caching proxies which means they fetch the content for you once, and hold it on their end. This causes problems with the cookies. AOL users have the biggest problem with this. For AOL users, using the web browser within AOL is the problem usually, so using one outside of AOL is best.
Cookie Blocking: Some anti-virus programs block cookies.
Checking for new posts then closing your browser: If you check for new posts and then close your browser, you will lose all of those, since it is only showing posts since your LAST visit. I suggest clicking on the 24, 48, 72, 96 hour search links on the index page to get a look at that amount of hours in the past.
I'm sorry you're having problems, but I can assure you it's not the server, I have not had to log back in for 6 months, and many more before that.
As far as Firefox, I use no other browser for this site, so it's not the browser either unless you are using AOL's.

You know, that might be it... the www.toontownfriends.com thing. I don't think I ever typed in the www part before. Thanks!
