I got all the flowers

My gold shovel has 325 out of 639. I have 4 trophies with room for 10. I've already got my whopping 4 laugh points out of the flowers. Should I keep shoveling? Is there a special surprise at the end? or will I end up disappointed like I did when I maxed out my watering? Does anyone know what is at the end of the shoveling? If not, then I am going to have to find out and just deal with it whichever way it goes.

Does anyone know where all the other laff points come from? I wanna be a 123 or more also.

Also, I keep getting booted.

I'm far behind you on the flowers...so I'm not sure what happens at the end of your shovel. But if I can remember correctly, 117LP is the max with all the games and flowers. Then you get an additional 5LP for each Cog suit you max at 50 which comes to 132LP. Maybe another 5LP for the 50 Boss bot suit?

The same thing happens at the "end" of the shoveling as does at the end of the watering can. I only know this because Bear Lee Here told me so; I got to my eight-bean flowers and then called it quits - I'm not sure it's worth it to max the gold shovel, but every now and then I pick a few, so maybe someday? Smile

Have you gotten any racing trophies? (10 trophies = 1 laff boost). Golfing trophies? (10 trophies = 1 laff) Fishing trophies? (1 trophy and 1 laff for every 10 species of fish)? The rest of the laff come from working on your sell/cash/law suit. Once you reach the top suit level (Hollywood/Robber Baron/Big Wig), then at certain levels of those suits you get a laff boost.

Everyone I've talked to is getting booted left and right today.

I completed laff points for gardening on 2 of my toons. I wasn't interested in completing my shovel...No thanks!!

I'm with Little Wacky, I sure hope they don't require you to have it completed for some reason. YIKES!

AND that just might make it worthwhile for me to finish up my shovel just so I can tease whoever's wrong on this one!! Gotta LUV good teasing material! Bear teased me mercilessly when I was searching for the right terminology for pigs when they first came out--I kept calling them "bovines" until another SF asked me what on earth I was talking about, and I said "bovines are pigs" and Bear about died laughing, hooting and hollering all over the place, because "bovines" are "cows, and the word I wanted was "swines." HEH HEH

I just got my six bean flowers and maxxxed my water can a long long time ago.. but when i was a bout 100 short on my can, i was watering(more like DROWNING) everything i could just to get the confetti and trumpets... to no avail.

The only way maxxing your shovel would be beneficial is if your toon was moving to another account. A friend told me you're able to do this, but you would have to replant everything over again, including trees. On the down side, you dont get any extra LP for getting to that point again(10 flowers = 1Lp) so its best to maxx everything before the move!

And since we are on the subject of maxxing stuff, did you know that if you maxx a gag in TTC you will NOT get the celebration that your entitled to? It happened to me when i maxxed sound... I did it in TTC(when i was a weee toon) just to show the baby toons what it looks like.... but it never came Crying or Very sad

and it was the first gag i maxxed. So if you want all the hooooplahhhhh best to do it somewhere other than TTC Smile

I moved a toon from one account to another at the six-bean-flower mark. When I got to the "new house," I had to replant all my trees and wait for them to grow again, and I think I had to buy the garden thingie from the catalog again, but I was able to plant six-bean flowers immediately at my new house (so I didn't have to start over at 1-bean flowers, PHEW).

WOO HOO! Granny Frecklebee puts her foot down (with shovel attached) and settles this once and for all! BUT WAIT! That'll only prove what happens (or doesn't happen) when you max out a shovel. It won't prove whether it's me or Bear with the faulty memory of what he did or didn't say about the whole shovel maxing incident. Mr. Green

On the pix (and I apologize if I'm being too detailed, I just know it took me forever to figure this out on the first forum I joined, but I'm not trying to insult your picture-taking-posting intelligence):

1. Take a nice pix of your toon using the F9 key. You can use the tab key to view her from the front, but you'll get an even better pix if you have someone else take it of your toon, nice and close up, and then they can e-mail it to you (or they can put it up on a free picture-hosting website like photobucket.com and you can get it from there).

2. To find Toontown pix on your computer after you've taken them, open Windows Explorer and look under c:\Program Files\Disney\DisneyOnline\Toontown. If you're like me, there'll be about 3 billion pix on there that you don't even remember taking (BUT I have no baby pix of Midnight Rose--no clue why not). Doubleclick on the pix you want to use as your avatar. It should open up with whatever photo software you have installed on your puter. You will have to size that picture down to no more than 150 pixels by 150 pixels, and 82 KB. Every software's different on doing this - just dink around with it and see. There should be something called "size" or "resize" and you might want to "crop" your picture so it's just your toon's face--up to you. You might have to open some other picture software that's on your puter and then open this picture using that software instead of using Windows Explorer. Whatever works.

3. When you got the picture how you like it (and it's small enough), then save it somewhere on your puter where you can actually find it again (desktop works good for that).

4. Go to toontownfriends.com. Click on the blue "Toonfile" that's up sort of near the top of the page. Now in there you can do all sorts of stuff (lie about your birthday, put stuff in your "signature"), but the avatar stuff is down near the bottom. To the right of "Upload avatar from your machine" click on Browse and find that pix you just saved on your puter. Click "submit" down at the bottom. It should say "Your toonfile has been updated." If it doesn't say that, then your picture is still too big, etc.
