Complaints Of BBHQ
View Single PostView Single Post

One thing they need to change about BBHQ is the snacks, the snacks need to give a better toon up not +1,2,3 or 4. Because when the CEO hits me I get a -15 and, 4 snaks that only give me +10 laff points, and they go so slowly, they need to make them go faster!

I agree, he hits you too hard and too often for those wimpy toon ups. I almost died, had to exit the game to save all of my gags. I tried the golf part of that, but had no idea if I was doing it right, it didn't seem to slow him down in hurting us. We'll figure it out eventually.

These are the things testers were complaining about before it came to open. Disney did not listen to our complaints. Maybe they will listen to open toons. Please complain.

We, testers, told Disney that Boss was not ready for open. The least of the problems were the toon up problems.

The golfing slows him down and sometimes even stops him for awhile. If nobody is golfing (and of course hitting him) then he flys around the room running over even more toons. Don't dismiss the golfing as something that isn't needed. It really does help. Best to start out with 3 or 4 golfers and once he turns orange you can go down to 2 but I'd rather see at least 3 stay there at all times. JMHO.

Amen!

Golfers are the key to success. You can get more -4 hits on him once he slows down. You will see the treads on his "vehicle" turning red slowly. The redder they get the slower he goes.

The longer you stay in there the harder it gets. After 20 minutes he does 19 damage to you instead of 15. My recommendation is go in with friends you trust to work together. This one is about teamwork people. I did 2 yesterday and survived both. Lowest laff I danced with was 56. I took one snack for 1 point of tu.

When he yells fore, hit escape to get off the table or the golf tee and stay where you jumped. His fore attacks aim for you where you are standing at that moment. If you move, you usually don't get hit.

Stop Complaning!

If you try just a little harder instead of freakin out and going to get a toon-up every time you lose like 30 points and work together you will be fine i've beaten him everytime i went and i have had no problems. I say they keep it how it is cause it gives a challenge and everything else is too easy. Besides you all should know not everything in life will be easy for. So stop making it harder for Disney. If you all think it is really too hard and dont like it then too bad just dont fight the CEO Disney obviously wants it to be the way it is if they didn't change it when the testers complained. So i dont think it will make a difference.

Now that I've learned (from you guys) to jump off the table and just stand there when he yells 'Fore', it is getting better. I don't go for the snacks until I am under 30 laffs (from my original 130). I like to stay above 45 because sometimes you can take a double hit, which would be -30 and green!

I would have to say that I feel the snacks should give higher values. After all, the CFO only hits you for 10 pts of damage and as the game progresses there, you get the zzzz, flowers, etc. that give more than 4 laffs back. Seems like the snacks should be more in line or increase in value as the round progresses. Just logical - not whining Smile

First - this is the complaint thread. If you don't want to read complaints, don't click on this thread. It's not rocket science. Wink

Secondly, Disney has used feedback to change things in the past. Yep - even after it hits open. So if you don't want to complain, don't - to each their own. Smile

Back on topic - my main complaint is that it takes too long. They need to fix it to go faster. Max hits of -6?? And most of them being -2?? I don't have an hour to spend in there when it isn't even fun. I won't be going in too often if they don't tweak it.

Then again, CJ used to take forever, until we figured out how to do it more efficiently. So did CFO, to an extent. So I'm willing to give it a chance.

Myself being a tester, and having won a few CEO victories, I've found the CEO on open to be very hard to do, ESPECIALLY WITH RANDOMS. I had to alt out the other day, I went in with 2 SF's, but left when my laff got down to 13 for the second time on my 113 toon.

I attempted to have a go at it again today, but as soon as I tried to serve the cogs, my TT discoed. Not sure if it's because of my new lappy, or if it's TT in general and all the new stuff, or maybe it's a because I'm running on Vista....who knows....I'm just getting a bit tired of all the black screens, discos, and the randoms.

I would love to go back to working Law, and doing some CFO's, but it seems to be ghostly around TT in other places other than Boss.

Well I am 3 for 10 now!!!!! So getting better! I am usually the golfer which I think is the easiest part Laughing though when he yells fore I find i have to move backward quite a few steps not to get hit. ( 3 or 4 ) unless I'm missing something here. I rarely take snacks, because of the fact that they dont help much..... and if I'm going that low I end up at playground anyway as you can see by my record. I also notice while grabbing snacks, toons r getting hit even more Crying or Very sad . I wonder why when you are getting so close to the end the snacks are not more powerful like in cfo? I have been on quite a few where he is red and toons can't get there laff up. When you are on the squirt bottle and you jump off the table if you stand still you won't get hit?? When I'm on the table he just seems to come right for me, runs me over, stays on top of me then I'm stuck under him! At least not losing laff though Laughing .. I still need practice on the table part. I think feeding the cogs is the funnest part. Its cool when you get them all in time!

When you are on the squirt bottle and you jump off the table if you stand still you won't get hit??

If you jump off the table and are out of the CEO's line of fire, then you won't get hit. Usually jumping off the table will put you in a spot that is not directly in the line of fire, but not always. If you have the presence of mind to consider all these factors (I don't usually), then when you hear him yell "Fore," look at where he is and where your table is and draw an imaginary line between the two--the balls are going to be aiming directly at where you were standing on the table when he yelled "Fore." If, when you jump off the table, you are either to the left or to the right of that imaginary line, you're fine, stay put, the balls will miss you. If you're not to the left/right of that imaginary line, then you're still in danger. One toon I know absolutely swears by this method: Jump off the table, immediately press the down arrow (to move backwards) and start jumping repeatedly. He only got nailed twice in the last CEO we did, whereas I got nailed a lot.

lil duck :
When I'm on the table he just seems to come right for me, runs me over, stays on top of me then I'm stuck under him!

If you see the CEO headed your way and his tracks are gray, then jump off the table and move out of his path immediately--you don't have a second to spare. If his tracks are pink or red (which means he's been hit a zillion times with golf balls), then he's slower and you might have time to get one last squirt in before jumping off.

P.S. My favorite part is the serving food, too. I think I missed my career calling--should have been a waitress! Very Happy
