Hello,
I apologize for the lateness in updating you all in the CFO Training Run. I have had a lot RL issues to get in the way. I am setting the date for the training run for Wednesday, March 19th, 2008, at the normal TTF run time. Varmint, may I ask you to post a reminder to this event when you do your normal TTF Runs Set Up? I will attempt to post something “Varmint Style” the day of the event. We will use Giggly Point as the main district and Giggly Valley will be the back up district. That way it will not conflict with the normal TTF – CJ event should others want to carry on and do that.
Wednesdays are always iffy for me due to my wife’s erractic work schedule, but I’ll figure that out. No worries! In the mean time, I have devised a layout of stompers and craners. We will do 3 loads. All in the runs will happen on the same day (mentioned above). Please group with the other toons in your load before the run. Should someone not show up during the schedule run, we will do a revenge-style run for that group. I will, automatically, be one of the revenge runners.
Here is the layout for the individual loads (Please note that you can enlarge the size of the document by clicking the link labeled Full Size) :
Also, my very good friend, Terri (Terrkan on here) came up with some tips to help you out in the CFO. And here it is (Please note that you can enlarge the size of the document by clicking the link labeled Full Size) :
If you cannot read these, please PM me your email address. I'll be happy to send you a PDF document. I promise not to store them and I, certainly, promise not to spam you. If you don't trust me (and I certainly don't blame you), create a temporary email address with Yahoo or Google.
As the 2nd document said. We always want to succeed, but the object is for you to get practice. But if we go green, we will NOT do a revenge style run for the Training Run.
I look forward to seeing everyone on Training Day.

Oh man! I can't believe I have to do this, but I probably can't do the training run! I have a church meeting that night that I'm in charge of and I can't bail on that. There's a slight chance I could be home in time, but to be fair to my partner (Nanner), it's probably best if I just don't plan to be there.
Do you want me to still try? Or is there someone who wants my slot?

I never got to chance to Thank You, LadyZ, for putting this in it's own thread. It's been rather hectic here in RL. It is, greatly, appreciated.

Vicky, don't worry about it. Church is far more important than Toon Town. Don't skip out on that.
With that in mind, I adjusted the CFO Training Runs Pairing list. Here is the updated copy:
I used a different photo hosting place to increase the size of the photo. I hope this helps those who have "old eyes"
As you can see, we had an exodus of trainees. This means that have more trainers than trainees. This left load 3 with only 2 people to train. And with the possibility of Banthadude Nachopop not being able to make it, the load would be too short. This leaves Zippy, Sandy and MissP without anyone to train. I don’t know how ya’ll (Zippy, Sandy & MissP) might feel about this. What about you guys serve as alternates? If you see that the other 2 loads are going to be short, maybe you can load up with whomever is short?
I know that 8 is overkill, but I want to make sure we maximize the exposure to the crane for our trainees.
Again, please remember, there will be no Revenge Run should we not make it out with a unite of some sort. This is just practice. If we come out alive then it's icing on the cake. The main point of this is to get experience without getting stinked.

Being an alternate is fine with me
I agree that you have to have 8 in order to keep things controlled for a long training run. I'm sure Miss P could do something constructive - like FISH!! (darn that Grizzly)

Alternate works for me. I was gonna bring Zippy any who. She doesn't need her lvl 7's anyway.
If you loose another trainee, I would love to work a crane. I can finally hit him with goons(sometimes) and would like to practice without worrying about sendin other to the playground green.

I need to apologize for late notice, I thought it was my carpools turn to drive and I'd be smooth sailing . . . but additional dance practices start tomorrow in preparation for their recital. So . . . I have to do some driving
I can be online from about 9pm - 9:30pm, which isn't enough time for a training CFO. If my group (or any group) wants to start at about 10:15 eastern, I'd be happy to assist.

Just one question, Tommy, then I'll pipe down.
Do I have this right? When the crane round starts, I should go find Deputy Sniffy at whatever crane he's on? Since I'm "paired" with him (as opposed to just staying put wherever I happen to be placed when the crane round starts)? Which is fine. I just want to make sure I understand--I'd hate to be the only cat cavorting about the room trying to find my partner while everyone else is getting down to business. (Then again, that might be fun!)
By the way, THANK YOU for putting this together, Tommy! You are INSANE for doing so, but you definitely ROCK!

We can check after the reg training run if any leftovers want to go again? Or you and I can go and you stomp while I crane train? See how fast we go green?
Sure hope I'm feeling better by tonight. Ugggg sick has hit this house (no worries Tommy....I'll be there sick or not )

Since it will be 4 stompers protecting 4 craners, I say stick where you pop in during the CFO round. Since the popping in is random, all of our craners may be on one side and our stompers on the other. If that is the case, I just say everyone line up accordingly. Don't worry about finding the partner.
The original meaning to the sided with at the top of the sheet meant that this group of stomper (trainers) will be with this group of craners (trainees).

Nanner, it looks like we still have plenty of alternates. Don't come if you are feeling back. Especially "the kid". Family comes first.

We should have plenty of alternates to fill in in the missing places. But, I'd be happy to run another one after the original session. Bear needs the unites.

I'm going to bring Zippy, so we will get a unite for sure. Trixie will do any revenge or TU shopping afterwards.

So ummm I haven't read the training document is this necessary. I am with a partner?? I can try to get on and get a code. That will make it easier for me to see and then communicate what the issue might be. I can do some after as well to get some unites. Are we doing two stompers and two just watching the craners? Yeah a little late on this. I can send two codes and then stand in the middle of them. I think that might be best for those with me. If I remember to get on TT in plenty of time that is.
Or I'll just show up and do what Bear says.

I am new to the forum, but not the game. I have acheived Tightwad in CFO, but still have a lot to learn. I just joined the forum today and am interested in knowing how often you schedule these runs. I will not be on tonight, but would love to go on the next one if possible. I am trying my best to learn the crane, but having a lot of trouble. Any help would be awesome.

I'd like to issue a special THANK YOU!!! for all my TTF volunteers who came to help. If it weren't for you, this wouldn't have went off as well as it did.
