I just got my bossbot suit and tried the CEO...and failed. I went in with randoms because I didn't wanna wait til the morning CCG run.

Anyway, the snacks on the sides should def. give better tu's...half of us were running around with under 50 laff when the ceo was only on yellow.

I didn't know the golf balls only slowed the ceo down...I was wondering why I kept missing with the golf balls. I quit the seltzer bottles because they were so slow to load up but from now on I will try to stick the with the seltzer bottles and then jump down when he yells fore.

In the end, there was only 3 toons left. There were NO food comin down the conveyer belt. I got hit -20 and went sad, leaving the other 2 toons to fend for themselves Sad

I think the CFO is harder though...just because I can't figure out how to work those darn cranes - I don't really need the presents because I'm a stomper. Once I figure out how to fight the CEO, I'm sure I will love it as much as I love fighting the VP and CJ

I went in twice.... first with randoms and the 2nd with friends(well 1 friend and her friends hee hee) i must say that it is completely a team effort. I dont think i will ever do CEO with randoms again... my friend had to explain everything before i got in there so i wouldnt run around with my head cut off...

this is the tips she gave me:
when the CEO battle starts it helps to have four toons each 4 bottles and 4 golfing... and the esc and down arrow tip really works... keep four golfing until the treads turn red then one can join the bottles... when at least three toons are really low on laff we yell "this way" and everyone meets in the corner next to the snacks for one toon to unite TU.... those who feel they dont need TU keep on the bottles or golfing.... this way saves ALOT of TU unites... i barely got hit using the esc + down arrow and jumping when CEO yelled fore.... It was a blast!!!

MissPoutyFace :
I would have to say that I feel the snacks should give higher values. After all, the CFO only hits you for 10 pts of damage and as the game progresses there, you get the zzzz, flowers, etc. that give more than 4 laffs back. Seems like the snacks should be more in line or increase in value as the round progresses. Just logical - not whining
But yes i have to agree.. if it is to work with randoms... the TU snacks need to be of more value...

You shouldn't need to routinely use Toon-up Unites in the battle.
Although, I will say that I went on Sat with CCG and made it out alive. I don't think anyone used a Unite there.

I've been in several now where no unites were used. In one, the only one used was by me, and then only because a toon down to 90 laff beat a toon down to 15 laff to the snacks. Mad Geez, people, only takes a second to check and see if anyone else is on the way to the belt, even if they are about to fall! Anyway, I then chased the toon down to offer 20 laff.

I'm getting used to CEO and enjoying it now. I do wish they would change the snack issue because snack hogging is going to continue to be a problem. So I won't be going on a "true" random run. I've been with TTF, with friends and with CCG.

I'm definitely finding that when he yells "fore," hitting esc then holding the down arrow and hitting control repeatedly (to jump backwards) works great on a corner table. I'm still getting hit doing that on the non-corner tables, though. I think you need to move slightly to the left or the right after jumping off the non-corner tables depending on where Mr. CEO is standing in relationship to you when he yells "fore." The corner tables seem to be safer no matter how you slice it, but I've noticed that my squirt doesn't always seem to reach him when I'm on a corner table. If there's another toon on a table inbetween me and the CEO, it seems like my squirt doesn't do any damage, even though I manage to hit the red. Has anyone else noticed this? Or did I just miss? GRRRR heh.

With the golf, when he yells "fore," just hit esc and stay where you are put--jump up and down maybe, but don't hit the arrow keys. You are usually safe as in your mamma's arms that way! HEH

I also recommend this as a psychotic CEO-beating method: I accidentally hit the stand-by key instead of the esc key (they're right next to each other on my keyboard), and when I got the blasted puter woke back up I was still in the CEO but all my graphics were totally messed up. Everything was in white or light gray--just shadowy outlines--could hardly tell what was what. Couldn't read anything--just black splotches for words. I decided not to alt out since I have no 7s left to lose anyway, and just hauled myself up on a table and aimed for that shadowy outline of a CEO. I had no clue where my laff was, couldn't read it, People were whispering to me left and right (I had gone in with one friend, who had died early on--it was her first CEO) but I couldn't read any of it. So I focused 100% on Mr. CEO and ignored the rest. It was actually helpful to have all side diversions completely gone. There were a handful of us who danced--and I didn't dare try to say "woo hoo" or anything else because my drop-down chat menu was a bunch of black splotches--I might have messed up and picked the wrong black splotch and said "you stink" or something HEH. Afterwards, when I x'd out of TT and got back in again, I had something like 17 laff. It helps to not know what your laff is! Smile

Hmmm I just hit esc both on tables and golfing and it's worked for me. No extra steps have been needed.

Yes to better toon ups and Yes to more hit points. I think if the water line turns red it should take away a lot more than 6 points. I am about 0 for 6. It is aggravating to have 13 lp and the toon who just hogged the row of snacks has 94. It is also aggravating when they do the shuffle at the elevator. I mean come on...this is new, give us a chance don't be selfish. Just plan on losing a few 7's along the way to help out a newbie.

Also, it seems like we are battling the waiters FOREVER. You just kinda zone out and then come to again and you're STILL fighting the waiters. Has anyone done a count on them? I haven't won yet so I don't know.

I guess I need to find friends to go in with. I didn't hear about the Saturday thing. I need to remember to stop here first before entering ToonTown.

Chalk me up to 0 and 7. Lots of shuffling. By the time we got to the waiters 3 had disappeared. The remaining 5 of us gave it our best shot. I had one true friend that time. We were all troopers...if only I could have kept that gag experience. Oh Well. One of these days I'm going to get him.

Sorry to go off topic but...How do I respond to a particular message where you can see what I am replying to in a little box inside my reply box? Off-Topic2 BossBot is hard

I went yesterday with CCG and won my first won. Jumping off the tables when the CEO yells FORE is a HUGE help. Did I already post this?....

Stop Complaning! If you try just a little harder instead of freakin out and going to get a toon-up every time you lose like 30 points and work together you will be fine i've beaten him everytime i went and i have had no problems. I say they keep it how it is cause it gives a challenge and everything else is too easy. Besides you all should know not everything in life will be easy for. So stop making it harder for Disney. If you all think it is really too hard and dont like it then too bad just dont fight the CEO Disney obviously wants it to be the way it is if they didn't change it when the testers complained. So i dont think it will make a difference.

As someone VERY wise posted in another thread, "For the kids playing this game, I think it is too hard." not sure who's quotes and where.

The last real, major complaint I have at the moment is the way the tu works in CEO!! I was in a run tonight will a toon named Prince D. He was never below 80 laff when I checked. I had him up on my screen for a long time, because he was running around in the corner hiding while the rest of us did the work. I know he wasn't parked. He was running around and as soon as snacks would come out he would run and snarf them up. At one point I whispered to him to save the snacks for sadder toons. He was at 85 laff at that point and I was at 24! I don't know if he checked mine or not, but he sure raced to be sure he beat me to the snacks. I was too busy to watch him, of course, but I never did see him do anything but hide and maybe hit a few golf balls. At the dance the only thing I could say to him was to save the snacks. I was not about to tell him he did anything right - and I am not like that at all. He was able to tell me "I need a toonup" and "thanks!" So if he was a kid he was a wise little donkey.

They NEED to fix the tu. Even if they don't fix the amount, or the speed, they need to do SOMETHING. I have no ideas here. It's crazy!

I felt so bad last night. During the first part of the boss battle I had been hit 2 or 3 times (what can I say...he liked me last night Shocked Plus I learned the difference between esc off the various tables. Yikes)! Nobody was taking the snacks (they kept rolling off the edge) so thought I'd go give myself a top off before the crazyness started. I was in with all sf's and friends of friends. Anyway after my 2nd trip I was told that Kimber (It was you wasn't it)? was almost lost to us and here I was taking her goodies! Soooooo sorry about that especially after I've posted more than once about that being a pet peeve of mine in there. If I had known there was a toon in real need I never would have went there (I was at 70something laff if I remember correctly....just was thinking to take them before I REALLY needed them and while nobody else was) Once I did get to the point of really needing them (20) the very sweet Kimber threw a TU unite and saved us all. What a sweetie you are!

That was an honest mistake and once again...so sorry! But cases like you are talking about Z it makes me crazy! Yes, something does have to be done! It's an odd little boss battle. For most runs I've been finding lately I don't need the snacks at all....then there are ones like last night where I find myself at one more hit and I'm outta there.

Have no ideas either even though I've thought about it often while in the battle. (hmmm maybe that's why I'm getting hit? Razz)

Nanner I was not telling you that because you were taking snacks Razz You chunky ducky you. I kept wispering to Kimber to take the snacks but being the sweet trooper she was she just kept using those seltzer bottles. I was just yelling out there for all to hear incase anyone had a unite to save the sweet little piggy.

That was a fun run. Thanks to everyone who showed up to!! Lets do it again Tonight.

The snacks offer such pathetic laff (if there are any snacks left at all), to me they seem pretty worthless unless your laff is under 15--and then they're only valuable in getting your laff slightly over 15, so you can survive a hit (and I've been down in the single digits many times in the CEO, usually followed by a green face, HEH). I've decided the secret is to avoid getting hit at all costs and let the other toons duke it out at the snack conveyor belts (I'm in there with randoms quite a bit--you guys don't do that) Very Happy I don't always succeed with my "don't-get-hit" goal, but with practice I'm starting to come out of there with more than just one tooth left.

It's getting better, now that toons know how to share the snacks, instead of hogging them to himself.
The last time I ever had to run was when I was a Yesman, and now I'm a Coorporate Raider.

Horrible horrible lag! Anyone else finding it getting worse instead of better? It's to the point that not only do I run into walls and stuff in the golf courses but when I try to jump off and on the tables I have like a 5 second delay. Now we all know what a few seconds delay can mean in boss. Yup you get hit....often! I have to run up to a table like 3 or 4 times before it takes me. Even when I hit him with the bottle it takes a few seconds for it to show he's been hit. Same when I get hit. It takes a good pause before it lowers my laff. I had gotten to the point of never needing any TU in boss to last night using up everyone I had in one battle! (an 80 a 40 and a 10) I'm also finding it following me to CFO and my ability to stomp. I'm missing goons and well....I don't miss goons! (well...ok sometimes but for sure not as often as I do now)

Of course I sent in a bug report and of course it's MY fault and of course it's my drivers! Funny but my drivers are all brand new thankyouverymuch.

BTW being that I sent back a pretty nasty reply to THEIR reply if you don't see me on TT for awhile they poofed me Razz

Yes This lag was happening to me the other day in ceo too. Mine was doing the same thing with trying to get on tables. Also during the feed round the drinks were just sitting on the tables! When we were done the cogs were gone but drinks still there Shocked

Is it happening in Nutty River mostly? I only CEO with CCG or TTF so I haven't seen any problems with lag over the weekend. The CEO is getting a bit easier as people get used to it. The 6 toon CEO we did went very smoothly. And, I'm not leaving the fight with dangerously low laff as much!

Yes, sometimes it was in River but I can rarely get in there so I do try to find other districts to ceo in. (I still get my thingy in River or Summit if I can since I'm out of invasions and am hitting the big ones) Guess it's hit the CJ time! I think (?) the first time this happened real bad was with CCG. Almost alway it is a green district but since these days almost all are green (unless you have your own group to go with and find a rare blue one) that's the only choce. Either way (except River which you expect lag) this shouldn't be happening.

No reply yet to my nasty reply email. Maybe they're drafting a new one where I need to update my attitude Very Happy

Anoher thing I'm finding is my toon is having a hard time picking up the "food" from the tables to feed the cog. I have to try a few times before it's in my hand and then it takes a little while for the cogs to take it. Going to be tons of fun to max this suit unless they take it upon themselves and fix this!
