CJ Invasion Reward Question
View Single PostView Single Post

Thanks to Bear Lee Here for answering my question but I wanted to post it here in case there are others who didn't know (I know of 1 other toon who does not know this answer *ahem, my mom*) and I'm not sure if I remember the answer correctly anyway.

My question was, why don't I get a full invasion reward for fighting the CJ--do I have to be a certain suit level before I get it?
I thought the answer was I had to fill up an entire row of cogs rewards on my cog rewards page, but I'm starting to doubt myself (memory gets bad after 40 and I've slept since then). Is this correct?

If so, I guess it does matter if I use up those "call a building" rewards--I'll never get a full invasion if I keep doing this.

Thanks for your help. Cool

Cutie Patootie is now a Backstabber level 6 or 7, and just got her first invasion. So, that's 22 or 23 CJ's before I got an invasion.

As I recall on Anna Miss, it was about that, maybe a big longer before she got one.

You don't have to fill up an entire row to get an invasion, they just come randomly. I don't use up my call a building or cog rewards, for I don't want to have to "get it again" before I get another invasion. There are people that have maxed, and then next goal for them is to have their whole page filled up, and they do that. So, I think they're randomly given, and if you have the whole page filled up, and use 1, I'm sure the next time you go to CJ, that will be the one that you get...makes sense.

I am finding that if I don't have a call a cog and bld I do not get an invastion. I know on test the invasions were given out random but I do think now it is in order. They pick which cog you are going to get and fill the first empty spot. If you are full on that cog then you get the next cog over. At least that's what I've been noticing lately.......

I've not noticed that...pretty interesting though. I have noticed that I do not get the higher level cogs until the lowers are filled a bit more.

Guess I'd better get my butt back over to Test a bit more....just haven't really caught up with anyone over there when I do go on. It's toooo hard to do merits and bux myself, I'd rather be on open.

There is a definite order in which the summonses are assigned, but it's such a convoluted order that it's hard to make heads or tails of (there's an in-depth discussion on the point on another site). But yeah, definitely hang on to your buildings/cogs summonses--you have to have both before you'll get an invasion summons on any given cog.

I also used to think you had to have the cog/building summon first, but then one time I got that cog invasion and didn't have the single cog. So thus I'm totally confused over it and have stopped trying to figure it out. Most times now, I have no clue what I get. There is one level 1 cog that I just recently got an invasion for and another level 1 cog I have nothing for. I did think it had to do with the suit levels of the toons going in. The more gavels and cogs the better the reward. I don't know if that is true either. It seems more random to me.

Wow! Interesting! I didn't know it was possible to get an invasion without having both the cog and the building first. Cool. Have you ever gotten (or heard of someone getting) an invasion without having the building first? Just the cog? If that's possible, then maybe you could call buildings without necessarily "losing" your next invasion in the process.

I've gotten the building without the single cog several times. Confused

I haven't noticed a pattern either. I've gotten several invasions without having that cog and building. A friend and I run together at the same level and always seem to get the same thing. But if one of us has used a building or cog, and the other gets an invasion of that cog, the first gets the lower reward of that cog. Confused It really makes NO sense to me; I wish TT would stop being so secretive and just tell, but then again it does give the bored math types something to do trying to figure it out! Razz

rewards for CJ
View Single PostView Single Post

I just started doing CJ and I am curious about all this as well. I will keep up with what I get from a newbies perspective. My first CJ reward was a single cog micromanager.

Do you get anything for filling your book? or is that just a personal accomplishment thing?

seems like a lame reward to me...same with CEO. Nothing beats a MAX TU unite or gag up all from CFO in My opinion.

Cool! Our own in house research team Very Happy

Nah, it's just a personal accomplish thingy and yup it's lame but may come in handy when you start those 5500, 8800, 14400 or whatever the high is in boss. I used all invasions I had when maxing law. I've even used the blds a time or two. The only use I've had for the call a cog was when I got my boss suit. I had all boss cogs but the flunky. Just went to the street and called the needed cog outside the shop. Saved me LOTS of running around.

Actually, I've come to enjoy the CJ rewards more than when they first came out.
Invasions totally rock when you have the big merits/bucks (if you have a friend and fire an invasion in the factory right before hitting the foreman, you can finish it off, get gags and run a short factory before it completes if you are lucky!).

The buildings can come in handy when you have just 20 min before a boss battle and just 'a few' more merits/bucks/notices to get.

And! The summon a cog reward came in VERY handy when getting your boss suit Smile. I just stepped out on the street and summoned them for the first 7!!

This is interesting as I only fought the cj maybe 3 or 4 times so still very small. Though when I was bored the other day, forgot all about the reward thing and clicked on the cog to summons it just for kicks. See the street was empty and I was just lonely Rolling Eyes , However much to my surprise I had the option of a cog invasion! "What!" I thought, I get to do this already! I only had one other cog on page to summons and I thought this was great Mr. Green

Edit... Edit.... Edit....... BIG time EDIT:
Embarassed sorry, it wasn't an invasion it was a building! See I get that excited just over a building Embarassed

can I click on it?
View Single PostView Single Post

Now I wanna click on it... Rolling Eyes can I? don't wanna waste it.

1st reward single cog Micro manager
2nd reward summon a cog building (on the name dropper square)
3rd reward single cog penny pincher
4th reward single cog flunky
5th reward single cog glad hander
7th reward single cog short change
8th reward single cog ambulance chaser
9th reward cog building on the flunky
10th reward single cog name dropper- Ok on this one Nanner was there and she got an invasion because she had single cog and bld on this square already. So it seems to me that after winning CJ the proverbial prize wheel spins and picks a cog. I'm guessing if you have the single and the building filled on that cog you get an invasion...if the first two are not filled then you get either the single cog or the bld. Although, with that logic, I'm not sure what would happen if say Nanner had Single cog Bld and Invasion on Name dropper...what would she get? Or does the whole team get something different, or does TT choose an empty Square from the biggest suits book and determine reward by that?...Now I'm confused again... Confused
11th Reward INVASION on the name dropper square
