I'm trying to take up my drop. What is the fast way to max it out?
I know by frighting cogs. That's not the answer i'm looking for.

Me too, I still need around 1800pts for boat I been using it more in the boss runs now and that helps with invasions. I also try soloing 3 floor blg's during invasions too. Though I also would like to move it along! It takes sooo long on drop

Best way I've found to max my drop was to do buildings during an invasion with a friend (or a toon from my other account). I would throw with one and drop with the other that needed drop. In case you didn't know, each floor your points for drop (and any other gag) increase by half and then during the invasion the points double. For example 3rd floor, level 4 drop will get you 16 points during an invasion (8 for 3rd floor, 8 for invasion). Drop 3 cogs on that floor successfully, that's 48 points (as long as my math is correct). You can build up points fast that way.
Good luck!

I think the friend is the key. However what has seemed to work best for me and my droppers is to have the friend to drop as well (especially during the lower level drops). Would be even better if you have a 3rd friend to do as pkdmrd suggests and stun the cog via sound, throw or squirt.

I was in the same situation on my mouse as well. I did buildings myself and dropped away on all the floors as she was big enough to take some hits. Not big buildings. I think I used MML as she is lureless as well. I know lure, trap, drop works out real well too. Drop is a hard one to work. I could get 100 pts easy if most of them hit. Just stock up on drop gags.
Welcome as well. Glad to see you out at the boss runs.

My toon Zippy is still working merit/bucks/jn/thingies. I would love to help you work that drop in buildings. Gets really boring running fac, da's and mints so I would love to do some buildings. My main toon Trixie has drop and I had the help of my kids to max mine. Lure trap drop over and over again. It also worked my trap gags for me.

Owooooo! I agree with what the others have suggested. All good strategies. If you have a friend with a "big toon," during invasions, and in big buildings, top floors is a great way to rack up those drop points. Best way, in my opinion/experience, thus far, would be 2 friends... One to weaken the cog with a hit of any sort and a friend to drop with you. (Use other gags on the lower floors and wait to use your drop on the top floors, as every floor you go up in a bldg, the more experience points you get)... But also keep in mind, 200 experience points per gag type, is the max in one building... So it doesn't necessarily have to be a 5 story bldg.
When I was playing alone, (when first on TT, in the whee hours of the night or on TEST), personally, I would go to Sellbot HQ and drop on the chubby cogs... Seemed to me, for some reason, drop actually hits them more than the other cogs. *shrugs*

I maxed my drop on Doc Goopy Megamush with a lot of help from my TTF friends. That goes as much for your patience as well as for what you taught me. You all know who you are, and you've heard me thank your socks off more than once for all your help. Since then, I also maxed drop on my test toon Lucentio. In both cases, one key to success was soloing Donald's Dock lvl3 buildings doing all drop. In an invasion this would yield around 125 to 150 points. During non-invasion times, gag credits would range as high as 75.. still respectable for a lvl 3 bldg. Dangerous? Oh my yes. Fun? Absolutely. And it's something doable when you can't find friends online. Of course, hanging with this TTF bunch will most always guarantee someone will always be there. The trick is to watch your laff limit and know the cog-math, and saving the higher drop gags for the higher floors if possible. Sometimes it isn't, and the best idea is to survive. Bail out if a bldg is too hairy a risk. Some 3's are surprisingly HARD and some 4's are surprisingly EASY.
Good Luck, and don't be afraid to "drop in" sometime!

Moe, you're welcome any time. Let me edit my statement above this way... The gag credits are referenced to being able to "hit" the cogs with all lvl 6 gags on the top floor and lvl 5 gags on the others. Lvl 4 drops to be used on lower floors, but primarily the drops I choose kill with the single hit. If groups come out, I lure and knock them back as singles, then kill with a drop. That way you ave a chance to get the drops in and limit the hit points. By the time i was progressed similarly with my drop, I was well-versed with VP and CFO. I used those TU cards as required when I was soloing bldgs with all- or mostly-drop.

Most of my toons have drop - I love it when it is maxed!
Buildings are definitely the key. I, too, think the short, chubby cogs are easier to hit with drop (no statistics on that though!)

Slow and steady . . .
Ricky maxed his drop with a (then) non-sf in the factory. We were both working drop (and needed merits), so we took turns helping each other knock-back and drop. This was before I had any sfs or visited any forums, it was awesome how well we were able to coordinate thru speedchat.
Of course, that was in the days before constant invasions. It's good to remember that factories still give double skill 24/7, every cog, every district. Bullion mints give triple. I find that unmaxed drop accuracy is much higher on factory cogs than in a mint. Especially on fat cogs - bigger targets . There's no skill if ya miss!
Another thing is to take advantage of any opportunity that presents itsself (as long as you aren't endangering or angering others. So if you find yourself speeding through a factory with toons in a huury and they have 2 eles out on a set with a 6 - drop him. All those times you find a chance to get in 10 skill really do add up.
I'm working on maxing drop for my next VP uber now. I haven't gotten really serious with him yet, but when I have 5-10 minutes to kill I break him out and drop safes on unsuspecting cogs in the street. He's up to 3000 skill and has never gone in a drop-working building.

Granny maxed her Drop by making Raven move in with Captain McDoodle (my son) for a little while. That way I was able to play both toons and help myself without risk of upsetting anyone. Of course that was also before I had any friends and I was recovering from surgery and had nothing better to do but sleep and play toontown.
Captain McDoodle soon got tired of not being able to play because of his toon addict mom and they had an intervention, so Raven moved back in with Granny.
Why does my husband get so upset when I bring the laptop to the dinner table?
Just kidding...I only did that once.

I've noticed that the drop will usually hit everything in the mint, even when it looks like it won't. I still haven't maxed mine, so thanks for all the tips.
Just thought I'd add my two cents.

Thats why I started with Drop first because it takes the longest to max out ; Best strategy choose sound last easier to max out
