Please help. N battling Chief Justice, how do U tell when U need to jump to avoid a 10 lp decrease. In battling CEO is there any other way to toon up other than pking food from conv. belts? When U are down 80 or 90 lf, 2-3 pts. at a time doesn't cut it. thx Lady Jeeperjinks

I assume you mean the CEO. The only way to get toon up is the food on the belt or someone with a toon up unite to bring up laff.
My best advice is to learn how to avoid the fore attacks from the CEO.

When in battle with the C.Justice you will hear him before he jumps almost like in V.P. The difference is V.P. jumps right after you hear the sound. C.J. has a delay of about three seconds I would say. I usually just jump three times in a row after I hear him. This works for me most of the time.
You will find some good advice on this site about CEO. If you read up on it you will learn how to avoid getting hit. That way you do not need whimpy snacks.......much.

To get a feel for the CJ, you can do the following:
1. Choose to throw evidence at the pan
2. Position your toon at the back of the pan, facing the CJ
3. Listen for the noise and then watch for when he begins to jump.
This way, you can see him start to jump and jump with him. Once you've gotten the feel for it, you will be able to time your jumps with his sound. You might also want to turn off the music so you can hear the sound effect better for a while without being distracted.
Yep - the toonups really stink in the CEO!

Of course learning how to avoid the fore attacks is the best way, but do you have any hints. I have seen the ones when you are on the tables, but I always seem to be on the golf ball. Haven't figured out how to avoid it there.

when he says fore, just hit escape or click the X to jump off and don't move! if you feel you have to move (which you don't) then move away from him toward the door you came in if you are golfing. If you move after jumping off the golf tee you may move into the path of where a toon was behind you and get hit. try not to turn your back on him for long, he looks at who he's going to attack so if you just back up a little when he's attacking you...you will avoid it. Standing in the corner where the snacks come out WILL GET YOU SAD! If it makes you feel better hit escape and Jump! don't move back unless it is away from him...but really esc is all you need to do. I sometimes turn to look at him when I jump off but usually I just watch the balls go into the ground in front of me, then jump back on the tee. The best advice I heard someone say was "When he says 'Fore' he "records" everyones position, if you move into the path where another toon was when he said "fore" you are going to get hit. It's why you should keep an eye on where you are and where other toons are. If someone runs behind you when he says fore...they MAY get you hit. LOoking at him and backing away is always the safest way.
Hope that helps

Thanks for the tips! I actually made it through one today w/out having to be saved by a tu and only eating a couple snacks! This was my 2nd time thru! I have gotten sad several times though. Thanks again.

I totally agree with EVERYTHING said here. Check the forums thoroughly. There is all kinds of advice. Try them all and pick the one later that you think is best.

It has taken me quite a few times through to get the "hang" of jumping off the table and jumping. PBB told me that when he yells "fore" to get off the table right then and jump immediately to avoid the golf balls, seems to be working for me; timing is everything there. I have only gone through (successfully) about 3 or 4 times. I resorted in going with the CCG because I can't seem to make it work all the time for our runs here, though I prefer the ones here over them. So much more fun with friends.
Good luck with that, I am sure as you run more CEO's you will get the hang of it more also.
The CJ is the same issue there, after running a few of them you will "get it" more. I agree, turn off the music and listen for him jump, in the beginning when I heard that sound I had to turn around to time my jumps, now I can without doing that; but I still miss it sometimes. Though not quite as often.
