Opinion on number of toons
View Single PostView Single Post

Ok - so I have some clear opinions on how many toons I want to do certain things with, I was wondering if anyone agreed Smile.

I will happily go into the CFO with a total of 4 toons (especially if I know them).
For VP, I tend to like 5 because the pie throwing is longer and more tiring if there are only 4.
For CJ, I could handle going in with 7 - 6 would make me a little 'pouty' but mainly because I don't like it much anyway.
So far, for CEO I'm still holding out for 8 (although you might twist my arm to go with 7).

For special occasions, I could be talked into doing one with less toons for fun, but wouldn't be my choice.

What do you think?

I'm right there with you on the VP and CFO(as long as we don't have me or Nanner craning). Confused

I would rather go into a CJ or CEO with the "right" 6 toons than with 8 anyday.

As long as I'm not on the crane, 4 is great in the CFO. The CFO is still my nemisis--I die in there way more than on anything else. Smile

I don't think I've tried the CJ or CEO with less than six at the start. I think I'd need more practice at stunless CJs before coming out of there alive with 4. A lot of the random CEOs I've been on have basically had about 4 toons doing the work, while the others duked it out over at the conveyor belts, so 4 is doable, just slow. The CEO doesn't get progressively "harder" as time goes on, his attacks just hurt worse (well, and the snacks disappear, but they're not much to start with). So as long as you get out of the line of fire when he yells "fore" and when he pauses/looks at you, you can survive a long time in the CEO. Long/slow doesn't equal inevitable death in the CEO like it does in the CFO with those red-hatters swarming like killer bees!! HEH HEH

CFO I'll do 2 if I know them! Very Happy Prefer 3 or more but then I always get on the single side!!!!!
VP ummm well I try not to do that one Razz
CJ I've done (meaning won) 5 but it was slooooowwww
CFO I've done quite a few 6's but I prefer 8 just due to the number of looooong boring cogs. I'm sure it's doeable with less but for the same reason I think I'll wait to find out....

I have had no desire to solo. But I have enjoyed going into VP and CFO with 2. The shortest load in CJ has been 4. And I would gladly go with 4 competent players in CEO any day. Would rather have us all double tooning in order to make the cogs easier. Bring on the wall huggas!

One thing - I would suggest you make sure the players are of a caliber that can handle it. I can't tell you where to find them, but I can tell you where NOT to find them. whistle

I like a full load on any run.

But I will stay on most any run with at least 4 toons no matter what toon I'm playing.

2,3 or 4 person CFO's are fine. (unless everyone disconnects, then you get stuck killing way too many cogs)
4,5 or 6 person CEO/CJs are OK (there's just too many stinking cogs to kill)

Unless I'm playing a 2 track Uber 3, 4 person VP's are OK, but I'd do a 4 person VP even on a 15-20 laffer if I have decent SOS cards.

I like full loads so we can get thru cogs kinda quick, or allow people to "horse around" (or is that "duck around"?).
I won't hesitate to jump on and stay on most any load with 3 toons standing in the elevator saying "LETS GO"! (even Yeller DUcks!)

VP and CFO - any four toons with decent gags will do. Less than four is when it depends on who the toons are...

Done a couple of 6 toon CJs - cogs are no biggie it's the TIME it takes to get thru the boss battle so the more the merrier Mr. Green

CEO - it was too boring so I stayed away after doing a couple on Test. Right now - 8 just to get the cogs out of the way. Rolling Eyes

I like the short load VP uber runs especailly when there is a chance to be sided in the Cogs or Skellies with toons that don't have Lure. Cool

Think I did a four toon CJ way long ago with all the extra gavels. Shocked Good for getting the ol blood flowing that's for sure.

Still want to two toon the CFO with my mouse. Two lureless toons would be even more fun. Haven't gotten anyone to go for it with me yet. Surprised Not sure I have the unites but maybe. I like 6 for the battles as it keeps the cog rounds more fun with the gags and still makes it go pretty quickly. I'd try anything once though with the right people.

Hey mouse! I'll two toon with ya....but need a bit more TU unites before that's possible. Have plenty of gag ups. Might even go so far as to not bring any lure with me....then again green isn't really my color Razz

Hmmm, seems to me you've done 4 toon, TWO player CFOs Wink

VP or CFO - any 4 toons (2 or more players) are fine. Maybe not VP if the other 3 are all low laff & low gags. CJ & CEO depends on mood Cool . Less is ok if you know 'em or if you started with more and some disappeared (might as well give it a shot since you're there). I had a blast on a random River run where 3 jumped at 0, 1 alted on the elevator, and the 2 on the other side alt'd as soon as the cogs came out (I didn't get that, they just turned green anyway Confused ). The SC1 and I danced with out needing a single unite, but the cogs sure did take us awhile LOL.

The short uber VP elevators are a blast!

Well. Until I really start getting bored. My comfort zone will be 5-6 VP( with TTFers, 6 CFO, 7 CJ( you never know about discos), and 8( wish it could be 9) CEO.
