Ok - who else here is concerned with the message we are sending in the golf courses at Boss HQ?
When you go to get in the cart to go to the next level, are you terrified to be the last toon in?
The driver of the cart is always speeding away before I even get seated when I am last one on. Needless to say, there isn't even time to buckle up (don't even start me on the lack of seat belts!!).

Didn't your mom tell you not to get in the car with strangers?

Even if they are good drivers?

But haven't you always wanted to jump over the door of a convertible and land in the seat? Like on TV? Here's your chance!! (Admittedly, the TT golf carts don't exactly have doors to jump over.) I haven't ever actually ridden in a real life golf cart, but if I ever do, I will be sorely tempted to take a flying leap and try to land my hind end in the seat (ala Toontown), rather than getting on with decorum! (Maybe I better hope I never do get the chance to ride in a real life golf cart?)

Owoooo! I, too, hope you never have an opportunity to ride in a real golf cart (unless I'm there videotaping for poterity, that is!).

And another thing - I think I'm getting scratched up by all those snaggly vines in the course.

Ahh to jump in a vehicle and take off with not a care in the world! Back in my high school years, we played a game ***WARNING**** DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME **** We called our game Rat Patrol. One of the basic rules for the game was when entering a vehicle, you had to slide across the hood, then enter thru one of the open windows - ala Dukes of Hazard style - opening doors was not allowed. THere was more to the game, but this is the part that I remember - lots of high speed chases and jumping in through the windows, sometimes while the driver was starting off. Ok, it was a dumb game, we were dumb bored kids in the sticks, and yes we coulda been killed. but it was really fun!

Now back to more recent events. I just came back from vacation in Myrtle Beach. We stayed in my cousins vacation place at a campground and he has a golf cart to drive around the campground with. On our second day there, my darling husband was going to get me a coffee from the coffee shop. He and the kids went outside, boarded the cart, then I heard the beep beep of the cart in reverse, next I heard the chain dragging (yes it was still chained to the deck), and then some choice words from hubby. He came in with his head hanging low, "I broke the golf cart." Before he was allowed to go golfing on Monday, he had to have the golf cart repairman stop by for a service call. Luckily it was a simple repair, and not expensive. I had fun driving around the campground the rest of the week, and I did think of TT golf as I sped around. Cool

I've driven a golf cart a couple of times, and I'm going to try to not think of the TT golf carts speeding off as soon as the last person seems to be getting in when I take my permit test Thursday because, for some reason, I don't think that it will help much, especially when questions ask about how to be safe.

Jumping into a car as a person is driving away is NOT fun (I know this from first hand experience T.T) and is quite scary. I can only imagine that My poor little cuddles purpleflip feels the same way when some other toon gets behind the wheel.

-Gazes off into distance as memories of stuffing brother in the trunk and driving home with 8 people in a 5 seat car come back- Aaaah, good times... (WARNING: DO NOT TRY THIS. EVER.)

Sorry but teenagers if you are reading this DO NOT DO THIS! Earlier this year we had 2 kids die from this very thing. The driver had his license 3 days and is now going to jail for involuntary or vehicular manslaughter. I know you are all young and think it can't happen to you but, yeah it can. It was devastating to the whole community.

Ah, I didn't mean for everyone else to try that... guess I should put a warning... My bad. Of course the driver had had her license for over 2 years but I guess that's still no excuse. We were rather reckless my senior year of HS... Sorry for my ignorance. I still have to remember there are children on this site... :3

Well. If the manholes lead somewhere, think how many toons will need to start working out! Shocked Nanner, will have to wear her robber baron suit(see Badger fan 4 lifes question about the thingjugummy fairy). Otherwise that plump(don't edit this Nanner) duck, might get stuck. However, all the toons on MY account(shared with maroon5dancer) are nice and thin. All of that running around and beating the elevator shuffle really pays off. And of course, hitting the golf course helps too. and throwing gags helps the arm strength. And if you aren't too busy eating the throw gags, you will stay fit.(takes rediculously large bow causing ears to flop down in front of eyes). And being a hare, running is no problem. However, we are CHAMPION gluttons! And, if you get Nanner angry enough, running from her is good exercise. And here she comes! Oh NO! She's in her Robber Baron suit! Goodbye wot wot! ( Exit, stage right ( good ol Snagglepuss)).
Adn how this relates, manholes could be a hazard for those chubby toons out there.

Hey I have a golf cart. Living down in hot sunny Mexcio with chicken white skin with hair and jeans plastered to you from the humidity you sometimes cave and take the golf cart around. Jumping off is way more fun than jumping on but I still don´t let my kids do it too much even though the top speed is probably a lame 5 Km per hour.

You want to talk safety, how about jumping on table tops?? Or running under those madly swinging safes, or no guard rails in the cashbot HQ...

Having a great time and still scared of the CEO,

Momo Rufflemuffin

Well, you do have a point about those safes in CFO! I can't count the number of time some "friend" has dropped a safe on my head!!

Mr. Green I've dropped countless safes on toons' heads, as well as my friends. For some reason, I feel it's odd that they don't take any damage. Maybe 60 per safe, like in battle. That'd spice up the CFO a little. Shocked
