so i was watching youtube the other day and saw a girl at her toontown house and she had her rugs all stacked up it looked like a staircase and she was jumping from one to the other until she was up by the roof of her house. ive been trying to do this for hours and no luck. another thing i need help with is how do you change the color of your toons arms or feet because i see all these toons with red arms and blue feet but have a yellow head how do you do that? :-?

Can't help you with the rug thing. Sorry.

How to make a multi-colored toon is done when you first make your toon. When you do the body color part toward the top there is a button that says something like "parts" OK that's not what it actually says but something like that. You then have the option to make the head, body (which includes the arms) and legs/feet all different colors. You can't change the color of the toons you have now except the task to make an all white toon (no color).

For the rugs:
1. Make ure you have several small rugs in your estate's "attic."
2. Get into the gray at your house.
3. Click "move furniture" and put a small rug down in the gray.
4. Stand on the rug, jump forwards or backwards off the rug. Your toon should be "stuck" a few feet above ground level.
5. Click "move furniture" and click on one of the rugs in your attic--it'll land where your toon is--up a few feet from ground level in the gray.
6. Put the first rug (the ground level one) back in the attic.
7. Stand on the new "higher" rug and again jump forwards or backwards in the gray and you'll get stuck again up higher--bring another rug out at this level.
8. Keep going, putting as many "stairs" as you want out in the gray.
9. If you want to be able to "use" the stairs from inside your house (instead of just out in the gray), slowly move a rug so that one end of it is sticking into the room and the rest is in the gray. If you move it too far and it falls into the house, you'll have to start over again with that rug (you'll have to put it back into the attic, get your toon stuck at the right level again, bring the rug back out into the gray, then nudge it just barely into the room again--this can take lots of tries.
10. When you get the stairs going as high as you want, stand on the highest rug (in the gray) and you can move furniture in from the attic if you want, to create a "second floor" to your house.
