It's an old thread, but one that comes up in my mind often enough!
I try to be relatively patient. If the strategy used will get rid of the set of cogs in 2 rounds, I will usually play along. However, recently, I was in with 2 smaller toons and they wanted me to use lure. Well, ok. Then, they both pull out rakes! Oh no! We are so not going down that road! I do feel somewhat bad, but I left them after the first round of cogs. I just didn't have that kind of time or patience.

I dont mind. I just focus on what I need to get done. Why worry about them? If they want to work on their gags I dont mind. As long as they dont interfere I dont mind. Especially if they are working Toon-Up.

I know exactly what you mean! A month ago I found myself in a 5 story on Polar Place with a random (I had two toons in there) and he yanked out low level traps and repeatedly said "let's use lure" "I'm going to use trap." After a couple of floors of that I sounded my way through the rest of the building and he stunk me the entire time. (The toon I was on had maxed lure, but level 4 trap, and I was not going to allow myself to be used like that when I needed the trap experience, too). Then this weekend, I'm on different toons in a bldg on Polar Place again with a random, he starts in with the "lure/trap" and yanks out a rake on a level 12 cog and I realize it's HIM again!! AAUUGGHH. I added his name to my black list the first go-round, but I gotta remember to at least check the black list once in awhile, HEH!!

Terrkan, im sorry that you had to have that experiance. I dont like it in buildings since there there is no toon up crates or anything. So, im feeling your pain. I wish you luck with future buildings.

My main toon on open is trapless, all gags maxed. I was in a factory some time ago with a couple of randoms and nearly died during the Supervisor round trying to keep them alive. I lost one in the end, and salvaged the other, although it was a very close call. Some toons just have a penchant for embracing an early demise.
That said, typically, when I'm in a factory and randoms enter, I will pause at the door long enough to assess gag strengths. I will follow up with assessing their strategy (or lack thereof). Since it's only "the beans" to bail before battle, I will advise strategy. If the poor lil toon-dear simply must to go sad, I'll pop the "This isn't what I'm looking for." phrase perhaps followed by "Good Luck!", and bounce on out. Fortunately, that happens so seldom I can't remember when I bailed last. On the other hand, some randoms are marvelous and well-skilled whom I will run with over and over.
And the moral of the story is, that it takes all kinds to make a Disney online game LOL.
