| MissPoutyFace : | I think the racing group or golfing group is a good idea myself! Maybe we could have some times on the weekends.
Personally, I got most of my trophies working with friends but we did trade wins (is that cheating??) |
The only way that LRB got her racing trophies was to race toons on our other account. My then 3 year old was nice enough to let me beat him, usually. My husband and daughters would consistently "accidentally" beat me... "but I had such a great round going, I couldn't stop!" You'd think the hours of childbirth would produce some sense of loyalty! Nope! I stink at racing! At least it is easier to run two toons in the golfing.

I tried racing my two accounts at once - me working both toons. That was a blow-out! I was thinking if I could keep the cars more or less side by side and turn at the same time, etc.... couldn't do it! You can alt-out on the toon you were going to let lose, but I think you lose your deposit that way, which is significant if it's a grand prix. I managed to not get my daughter's toon across the finish line in time to qualify on a grand prix once racing myself (I tried racing them one at a time) and lost her 1000 ticket deposit--she only had 1040 tickets to her name to start with, so she was back to doing practice runs again! My daughter was most displeased with that one!!

If you alt the second toon out just after the timer hits 0 and the karts start to move forward, you won't lose the tickets. I found this out the hard way after I'd already used up all the tickets on kids and hubby's toons . I'd love to be able to do the fast race cheat when I'm racing myself - get those races over with and never head back to GSW.
We did have a group at one time to get together and alternate wins http://www.toontownfriends.com/toontown_friends-forum-104.html
I think I lasted for about 2 races before I decided I'd rather go pick daisies or something.

I like that idea too! Just like doing Cog boss runs. We could golf and race on certain days. I shared wins too Sandra. Between some of my friends and my kids, I got some trophies. It will be the only trophies I get cause I am not good at racing!
