I noticed we got the new fonts on Open today.
I received a new cattlelog and it has 2 name fonts in it (one was marked 'Already Purchased'). Has anyone purchased a second one? I'd like to know if you can then switch or if you are just stuck with the last one you buy.

If you purchase one, it will replace your current one and you can't switch back....you'll have to buy a new one. From what I read (and Understood) from others is that it still states that it is already purchased so you have to wait for a new one to switch back (buying it of course). The Trail toons will have a different font than the ones you can buy....I believe the old default is noe the Trail default.

Wonder if this means the fix for the Cog golf courses has also transfered to open? This is all they say.....

We have added fonts for purchase in the Cattlelog, so that you can show off your Toontastic names in style! New fonts will appear with subsequent Cattlelog releases, so watch for them!
We've also made various stability enhancements.

BAHAHAHAHa I almost fell out of my chair laughing when i read this. This morning while trying to get my options I was kicked from the cog golf course every time I jumped into a golf cart on the 6.

Did you guys notice we also got new "views"? I noticed during a factory run today, that when you hit Tab, you also get a new aerial view of your toon, this is new, right? i don't think we had that before

I filed two UGLY bug reports. I was booted first when changing districts and then after getting into River I was booted when I tried to TP to DD.
Stability my arse.

I like the new fonts. there is also a little 'r' right under the speed chat button. site is down for maintenance right now. I got a strange message early this morning, we were at the end of the middle six and a message popped up that everyone in the district had been 'reset' and I would be able to return to the spot I was after logging back in. Didn't happen, when I logged back in, I was sent directly to the playground. I kept getting stuck going in circles too. Hopefully they will work it out. I've never gotten a new font in any of my cattelogs.

Yay, new fonts. I just got home from school to find that Toontown's down, but as soon as it's back up, I'm going to have a blast with the fonts!!!

Yes, I still like them a lot. It makes the toons more "personalized." They seemed to fix the problems the new fonts caused rather quickly... under 24 hours.
Do I wish they would focus, or find the cause, for the lag and the other age-old problems first? Of course I do.
I was also more pleased this time in "Trial mode" that they did an hour on and hour off, although VISTA players seemed to be stuck in trial mode. I feel very bad for those of you who were!
Anyway, I'm sorry to all who have had their play disrupted, but it is not because "x amount of testers liked fonts or did not." And I believe Disney is doing everything they can... After all, I'm sure they do not want to lose customers either.
(Gotta go check my drivers now)

I really wonder sometimes if they even listen to you testers. Who knows the game better than people that play on 2 accounts? I would also venture to guess that most of you submit very similar reports. Maybe it is just that hard to make the fixes that have been reported,like the cog graphics on drop gags in BBHQ...I know that was reported in test and it still lives on in open...

The new fonts are cute, but that's about it. Squeak E Valentine had a couple in her cattlelog last night and bought one, just to be different (as if she isn't already a little different to start with). I discovered you cannot gift them to anyone, just like the banks and fishing poles. So my other toons will have to wait for their next cattlelog to arrive, if they have already checked out their current one.

my daughter and I loved the new font, but she was sad to discover that i was not going to be able to buy them for her, (she needs more jellybeans), she will have to wait to get hers on her cattlelog and get more jellybeans (they are expensive)
