Hi, I am new to POTC, got hooked because toontown was down so much last week. Any advice on how to obtain a leaf from a Venus Fly Trap. The wiley plant keeps sending me to jail!!!

Ocean Hop until you find a lower Level one...I think I found one around Level 9 and 3 of us attacked it... it was Ugly

I've found the best way to get that one is make sure your gun is at least level 4. Then stand at a fairly safe distance, and you can "take aim" and do more damage by holding down the mouse button than by just mashing it. If you are not yet at level 4 for your gun, go work it up on a "safer" enemy, and buy tonics!

There are some Venus Fly Traps (2 or 3 of them) in Tortuga right outside the jail..in the swap there. Hey, it's not too far from the jail!! 
The gun works best...I agree with Skip. It also helps to have a friend helping.
