It doesn't really matter to my Duck but in the interest of "working" smaller toons, I have a question about gag credit.
Lets say you have 2 cogs a lvl 3 and lvl 5. When you go to select gags, lets say you select a cream pie, it shows how much gag credit you are going to get since there is a lvl 5 present...my question is, do you still get the gag credit if you use the lvl 5 cream pie on the lvl 3 cog? or is it ONLY if you hit the lvl 5 cog with it?
 just curious

I have been wondering this myself. In the factory the other day, I used a level 5 trap on a level 3 cog, so I could check when I danced to see if I got credit, but I forget to look when I danced!

I would say if the gag has the light background that shows you get credit for it then you do get the credit. I always try to get rid of the smaller cogs first so I can get that credit.

Yes, as long as the larger cog is present, you get the gag credit. Even if the larger cog is killed on that turn before you use your gag. The turn doesn't end till the next one starts.

Bingo!
When working gags I always kill the little guys with the bigger gags... Factory Lobby... all 3 cogs will get cream pies starting with the first 3 then the next 3 and lastly the 5.

this is exactly what i was thinking about, Factory... so if you kill the 3's first, you maximize gag credit available, Yay.

This was one of the best things I learned (and it took a while)! I was always using lvl 4 gags on the lvl 4 cogs, etc. Boy - how nice to have figured it out! And, it is why the bigger toons don't want you to kill off the strongest cog at first throw. My big toon won't get much gag credit if they lure and the 2 little toons take out the 5 . I don't have many lvl 3 gags to throw.
Back when we didn't have lvl 7 gags, it didn't matter much. But now, I'm always working gags to some extent.

Yeah, if it's an easy battle (like the factories), then I always try to get the little cogs first, so I get more experience. I'm always strategising...
