Ah, I was archiving stuff this morning and found this (which I had missed), Since I am basically the boss of that...*shrug* Laughing I do leave old threads I think will be good for further discussion, so no one needs to worry about posting to old threads, though if I get behind it will remind me Razz.

And I was seriously asking, not just sayin' in a rubberbootsian sort of way. Wink

Me, I run all over the place racing my friends to see who gets the most (too bad they don't keep score. But the pushing thing is a great idea, thanks! Very Happy), but leave one toon standing in a hole minding its own business - a hole I know for sure a red one will pop out of (anyone pushes him better watch out Mad). But that's just me. Smile

PS The green stuff is triangles (seems like something the t.f. could use hmmmm Razz)...

Lighten up, you say? Surely you jest!! Lighten up on something as dead serious as the thievery of red moles from my assigned quadrant?? Which quadrant was assigned to me on the basis of my hauling my tail over to that corner first and claiming it as mine? Although, upon reflection, that method of assignation does tend to favor those with a faster Internet connection, and since I have been forced to switch from cable to slightly slower DSL, perhaps I should advocate a more democratic method of assignation? NAH. If there's one thing TT frees me to do, it's to behave like a child, so I think I'll continue to run to "my" corner, shouting MINE MINE MINE (too bad I don't have that speedchat), and thinking dire thoughts about toons who dare to trespass!

And since we're on the subject, I have an equally irrelevant observation/complaint to make about the mole game. I say that the "proper" method of overseeing your "assigned quadrant" is to stand at the outside corner and look in on the course. Lately I have been noticing toons who are standing at the inner corner looking out. What's with this aberrant toon behavior??? I suspect what I am witnessing is a secretly rebellious toon who is ostensibly sticking to his/her "assigned quadrant," but who will not hesitate to back up a few feet and swipe another toon's mole if the opportunity presents itself. Clearly indicative of some unresolved adolescent issues coming to light! Mr. Green (Notice I am refraining from discussing what "issues" are indicated by overanalyzing toon motives/behavior!! HEH HEH)

The staying on one quadrant didn't bother me until I did a back 9 with toons who insisted on doing that. For some reason, all of the mole games were exactly the same. And, they all had the majority of the red moles popping up in the same quadrant. There was one quadrant that NEVER had a red mole. Well, the game reset since the toon in the busy quadrant couldn't get everything. The red moles kept popping up in the one quadrant. I was helping that toon. The other two stayed in their areas. Rolling Eyes

Floor 2, same thing. Same set up exactly. This time 2 of us were running around in that one quadrant. Game still reset, since we didn't get all of them. I was wondering if the other 2 toons were ever going to catch on. Shocked I couldn't find speedchat for, "Use your head!"

Floor 3, same thing. Wow. After the game reset on that floor, one of the other toons picked up on the pattern and started helping. Amazingly, the toon who NEVER had a red mole in her area just stood there the whole time on all 9 floors. That left me with an opinion of toons who stay in their area the whole time when they could be helping and avoiding the game resetting. Just sayin.

occassionally when I run around (outside my designated area Embarassed ) I manage to go on a mole swoop and rack up 6 or 7 in a row when they are popping up in the "busy quadrant".
