Thanks, I have passed both these ideas on to my IT folks here. We are also pursuing the idea that Telmex is deliberately blocking some communications and that TT has fallen within this group. Who knows?
If anyone can find Mr Mac Weaselberry ( a yellow cat) and somehow make him a TF or guide him to this site, tell him I have not abandoned him that I am in a server black hole.

It was poorly assumed, on my part, that port triggering and port forwarding were already tried. We definitely want to get this setup properly. If you cannot find port triggering settings in the admin for your router, try upgrading the firmware for the router. Crazy Boo Boo gave some excellent links.

Checking with IT guys to see if that was done. They have been over here trying so many different things that I have also failed to keep track of what has been tried. I will track them down and grill them.

Ok, they have tried it with one of our routers yesterday with no luck, I believe it is an infinitum, dedicated to me only , now they are going to try the same procedure with our other router. I need a IT guy dedicated to just keep me up and running ; )
The nice thing about being at a large resort is having these guys at my disposal, the bad thing is sometimes they have to do their real jobs, rats. I am trying to get them hooked on the game so they will share my passion, but since they can´t maintain connection with the server either it appears a fustrating and pointless game.
Worse comes to worse I will just have to tell my husband that we have to leave the business and move back to Canada,

Hi DHBatch, in reply to your earlier question one of my routers is a Dell PowerConnect 3424 with open port. Finally one guy got one computer at his home to stay connected, but not mine. At least we can eliminate blocking from telmex. I hope I can solve this and Cool mo mo spacklewhip can also get back online. It all started June 3rd a day when storms disrupted some servers in the US and whatever they did triggered this cascade. I don't think it was a coincidence. If nothing else I have added a few words to my vocabulary, none bad.

Ooops,no , telmex is not out of the loop. Brought in a Netgear router and did all the port triggeriing, forwarding whatever as per instruction and still getting the boot. Only an old telmex router seems to work. All new routers do not have the ability to do the reconfig. down here which puts telmex right back in the picture. Dang I hate dead ends. Going to try the old router here tomorrow to see if it works. Next, an attempt to convince telmex that Toontown really is not a threat to National Security.

*I* am having a different but sort of similar problem. Just after everything in the seltzer bottle loads, it says the program encountered an error and needed to close.

My problem started on June 3, when did yours start? Some problems started before the June 3, for example the increase in anomolies during factory, mint and DA runs of grey space and reverse positioning during a battle (seeing it from behind adds a little challenge). I wonder how much is caused by the introduction of unlimited time play for non-members?? I notice too that even quiet districts can be loaded with new toons. Hmmm and the broadband problem caused by storms in the US on June 3rd, which was fixed within a day but how, and was the fix not able to restore the same level of commmunications?? Lots of questions, sorry. Too much thinking time without TT.
