Well, I havent used the report button yet, but i asked a friend of a friend to ignore me to see how it works. All it does is block whatever the toon is saying. And you cant teleport to them. It tells you that they are ignoring you.

I don't know what they do yet, but one of these days my hand is just going to slip, and I'm going to report someone by mistake! Why can't they just make the buttons tiny and put them somewhere where you can't just accidentally click one. Does anyone think the buttons are a little larger than the other ones? YIKES!

I tested the ignore button and it worked as advertised It tells you that you are ignoring that person for that session (I assume that log in session) and allows you to easily unignore them by clicking the button again. I like it for those who are constantly SF chatting when you are with them in a run, just ignore it and you don't see it. The downside is if they are trying to tell you that they want you to use X gag, you also won't see it.
With the report button, you have to go through a series of screens to actually report the person, so it would take a lot of accidental clicks for someone to accidentally report someone. I could see a kid easily reporting someone if they aren't able to read yet or just keep clicking yes or report. The TT moderator (whomever that is) will read the report of what the reported person was doing at the time (by looking at the logs) and if they actually did something wrong, they will be punished. If it's something ridiculous, like being reported because they didn't pick the right gag, nothing will happen.

Can you be reported for saying, "You stink!" (Not that I would ever do that!)?

Someone could report you for anything I suppose, even down to not wearing matching clothes Time will tell how credible it is and how it works in getting people warned/suspended or what.

Hmmm, so we can ignore certain noisy toons and then un-ignore them. I may like that!
I don't know that the Report button is bad. However, I think it will be used poorly a lot, especially at first. I mean, like Max said - if you report a toon for picking gags quickly so other toons don't get into the battle? I don't think that is a reportable infraction myself. And, certain behaviors could be shown to be worse than they are. I'm not sure I've ever been in an encounter with a toon that I would find reportable. The only thing that comes to mind is a pair of toons with names when running together were objectionable. The Report would have been useful in that case.

I think the question about the report a toon button is how well Disney handles it. Not so much how we the toons handle it. Will it be an auto suspension/warning/whatever or will they actually check into it (unlike our report a bug reports)? I know they SAY they will but......???

What happens if you report someone for something that you shouldn't have reported them for? Will you get suspended?

Well, I had to use the report button on 2 Toons, they were tricking Toons into teleporting to them so they can get stuck on the Trolley and laugh about it. That's just mean, isn't it?
