If you have more than one PC and one of them is running VISTA DO NOT DOWN LOAD THE NEW TT VISTA LOADER
Continue to play on the XP or older system.
If you download the vista loader you will lose all your SF's and they will become just friends. No matter what computer you use after you have logged on with the new loader.
Just another example of Disney's incompetence. they have done it before and they STILL have not learnt from their mistakes.
Disney have you still not learnt that you need to TEST new software before you implement it ? ? ? ?

I'm surprised you think Disney is bad. You should see what EA Games is doing to the Sims franchise.
(sorry for the off-topicness)
I sure hope they fix it soon, though. Bugs are icky.

This is a KNOWN issue that the UK folks have lived thru once before...months ago. Try rebuilding your SF list

Following the release of the new Vista Launcher, any users who launch
the game may lose their Secret Friends connections. Secret Friends of
these players turn into Regular Friends. This is due to an incorrect
setting in the launcher. As you might have noticed, it is not yet
possible either to invite secret friends at the moment. We are currently
working on this issue to resolve it.
Unfortunately we will not be able to restore the "Secret" status of your
previous Secret Friends. Once we have fixed this problem, you will have
to repeat the normal steps of exchanging "secret codes" to become Secret
Friends with these Toons once again.
We value you as customer of Toontown and thus we are crediting your
account with 10 days.
We apologize for any and all inconvenience that this may have caused
you.

Does this only apply to UK toons. I just got a new laptop with Vista and I am afraid to download toontown to it. I don't want to loose all my toontown secret friends.

It's only UK as far as I know (and has been reported). I use Vista with no problem.
