VP: 5/6 danced for some weenie 3 star sound card

Present were:

Cog round teamed Princess M, who seems completely comfortable in "her" skirt and was having a high old time curtsey-ing to the crowd. Along with GMZ and Crab E Dawg. Got thru that fine then in skeles GMZ was sided with Princess again and Toadly Ossum Dood. Now, we were on a roll at first. I used a toons hit when we got our first full row of skeles. Princess was our lure man of course and GMZ has wimpy cake so Toad was throwing the cakes while I pied. I was thinking I would have to use my restock throw so we could keep up our rhythm, which rocked, we killed one at a time and Princess was luring one at a time so I have no idea how we got hit....I know lure missed once but I am pretty sure the hits came from cogs who woke up TOO EARLY. Anyway we ended up with two mad cogs and they went for Dood before we knew what was happening. We didn't have time to even think about unites or any of that good stuff. We did make it through the rest of the round -- mostly by letting the clock run out till the others could come over but we were not doing too badly. Princess got a good tu and GMZ got tickled with a feather and we were off to the pie round which was a breeze! But the dancing was not happy with us missing Dood. The only bright part I could see was he didn't get stuck with that SOS card! Oof.

No problem, it's the life of an uber. If the fishing lure had hit the cog, even the waking cog wouldn't have taken Dood out. Lures miss, that's life. It's still worth it to have an uber and feel the tension that two hits is a playground trip in the skells. The teamwork was great. Taking a team of 6 into VP with a bunch of ubers on board is inherent with risk anyway and it was real nice of the vp not to put GMZ, Crab, and Dood all on one side together.

The rest of the story: Dood had that same 3 star in his SOS book, so if he'd won it'd stack up on him. He didn't want that. It was a great reminder to clean up his SOS book and get rid of it. The next thing Dood did was catch the CCG run, starting with a visit to the cog near the pit and an application of Barbara Seville to him. He was a 5 and the fog didn't kill him. Thanks a lot, Barbara, glad it was one in the pit and not 4 in a boss battle. That cleared the space in the SOS page of his book. He waltzed into the very next VP and was greeted with crys for rescue from caged Barnacle Bessie. Now Toadly Ossum Dood has Bessie where Barbara used to be. He doesn't feel like he lost at all last night. He had a great deal of fun in both battles.

But yes, I was happy to see that th three of us were not put together. Princess had thought it would be cool to all get through it since the two ubers didn't have tu, but as you may know her driver has some superhero issues

Glad it worked out for the better for you! I know it's the life of an uber, but still it is not easy to dance and shout hurray when the entire team is not there.

It was a fun night - wish I had made the CFO figt but was helping a friend in the factory (had to dust off a little used toon - 105 laff is a horrid place to be!).

I do hate losing anyone, even though the ubers know the risk. Loopy and I had to snatch Crab E back from the brink once as a lure failed! That is always VERY exciting!

So sorry you didn't make it dood...but glad you won the next time and got a great card!

Also, I want to thank Miss Poutyface for coming. She originally came to the run on her smaller toon, but when she saw Crab and Dood there, she switched to her maxxed toon so she would be more helpful to them. You rock girl!
