Dang! I certainly want to know where you are living, if you can buy a house for $3000! Shocked

Two words: Manitoba, Canada.

So that's even LESS than $3000 American. We still have to pay taxes on both houses, but it's worth it.

EDIT: By the way, for those not geographically inclined, Manitoba is a province in Canada, which is the big country right above America.

Less if you meant $3000 Canadian! I'd be interested in seeing what kind of shape that house is in. One can't help but to wonder!

I thought that was Greenland! Shocked Ya learn something new every day...

Just curious... did you get that house from a back-tax sale? I did some research and found a trailer for 65,000 Canadian... that was probably the cheapest.

Crazy Boo Boo Fuzzysocks :
Yes. But do they have a Sonic in Manitoba?

Of course! How else could I have obtained so many of the games produced? I've played them all, minus the newest one released.

The house was bought by private sale, and is in prime condition. Sure, the floor is a little bit warped in one of the closets, but does that REALLY matter? It has two storeys and a crawl space underneath. The house has a moderately sized front and back yard, as well as two garages (One in the front, one in the back) and tall evergreen trees all around. We remodeled the bathroom as to look fresher, and added to the kitchen wonderful wood flooring. It even has a porch!

Since we live about one and a half hours from the nearest city east or west, we do sometimes make trips to get a greater selection of groceries. But, we do get a nice low crime rate (Practically zero) since we live in a small town.

Shocked Ummm.... Sonic has games now? Gee, I must have missed that on the menu... Is it next to the Coney Island Dog Combo?

Private sale? Could have been a back-tax sale... some houses go for pretty cheap, and when they go up for auction.

I may be wrong, but I'm thinking Bionicle is discussing Sonic the Hedgehog games while others are talking about Sonic the fast food joint.

I could be wrong - feel free to correct me, my husband will say it's not the first time I've been wrong Smile

D'oh! People always 'correct' my name. Barely anyone understands it's misspelled for a reason. I've joined at least 18 different forums over the years and hardly anyone spells it like it is. It's only misspelled just so I can use it everywhere, and be recognized everywhere.

You're not wrong, though. However, I've never seen one of those fast food joints yet. I haven't seen the commercials on Canadian TV stations either. Not once have I ever even seen the food from one of them.
