OK It is Wednesday! Yes, technically it is...I figured since I am up, I might as well give a chance to the night owls or Europeans among us. So what will it be today? First to post picks! You pick the time too. Have fun!

I'm not calling this, too much to do today to plan anything, but here's an idea I had:

No multiple target gags.

No hypno goggles, no cane, no juggling CUBES, no sound. And no multiple target SOS cards either.

Just a thought.

that means no magnet too, ooo sounds exciting! Let's try this thing! I'll call it for 7 eastern (so we can get BBubbles and a few others who hit the sack earlier there to play as well.
7 eastern
bouncy summit and toonvalley as backup district. (code phrase let's go to ttc)
wait inside for this run since it could be pretty risky for randoms.
No multiple cog attack gags or SOS multiple cog attack cards

So does this mean no doodles, either? Wouldn't all SOS cards be invalid as well, since there are none that affect only one cog or one toon?

Does sound like fun, though. I think it will probably pan out much like a standard ccg run. The only difference being that the first wave of cogs will be lured by several toons instead of one. Although we will really have to consider the strategy if the elevators aren't packed.

Ricky will most likely be able to attend this weeks wackiness.

Although I'm not the one calling this...I would say that no calling doodles either.

Perhap a better definition is no action that effects more than one toon or cog. That would also mean no unites!

I think it may be similar to a regular CCG run, except when those initial groups come out and when lure misses, then you'll have multiple cogs to deal with, multiple toons to heal. Smile

I will try to be there, but not on Lady Googlebrains (still working on about 2500 merits and 2500 cogbucks!)

Going to do my best also but 6pm central time is a hard one. Might have to throw something in the oven and let the masses fend for themselves.

Bummer, raced home from work...but it's to late. (It's 4:30 now. pacific) I think it's nice to make it so Janet won't have to miss it. I'll catch it next week. I enjoy these special runs a great deal. I think it's so fun to get out of the gag rut and explore the math and combinations of other gags.

OK only Sir Igor and I showed up for CFO. So let's change the CFO time to more the late nighters time and do the CFO at 11 eastern. I'll be there and hope to see some of you show up too.

That was surprisingly hard and it is slow going!

Seems like the best strategy is to be picky about when to lure and keep small cogs around. This works OK in the cog round for VP and in the CFO, but the skelecog round was a struggle!

When the lures on those first two cogs both missed I knew we were in for trouble. Mine kept missing even though my lure is maxed. So it became a real quandry trying to decide when to toon and when to try to lure, and if you should just ditch lure and try to take out a cog.

Add that to just 3 of us on my side, and hesitation (who's going to make the first move?) and man it was rough. I finally went sad, but I think I topped off someone for laff (or close to it) before my departure. Ha! The team went on to win - yeah! And I wandered off and got cogbucks and went to a CCG VP where I had an awesome time!

Can't remember all names - Nanner, Ricky, me as Weirdo Wolfie, who else? And one random at the VP who I'm sure was quite confused!

The CFO actually could have been pretty easy if you kept the little cogs around, but we had a toon on our side that kept taking out a 2nd cog. Nanner and I kept trying to suggest not doing that the best we could, but it didn't change his behavior much. As a result we really started getting clobbered big time as more big cogs came out. It would have been tons easier if we'd left those level 1 and 2 cogs in the first 3 spots.

But at least the crane battle was fast! (But for 100 beans, ack!)

Similar group to the VP, again I don't have all names, but I can remember the short ones, Ricky and Nanner! Wink

Nanner - thanks for helping get those 40 merits I needed before the run! I usually get those small merit amounts in the morning, but I had been running Lady Googlebrains through facs with Queen Purple whip to try to get my first 5500 (ugh!) that morning and had neglected to top Weirdo off.

First of all, it was tough getting a team together. Only Nanner, Weirdo, and I were at HQ so we started making calls. I found 3 in the mint together so we waited. They finally came and we switched dists as there were a number of randoms around. Of course, then we had the random in the backup district that would just NOT go away. We tried for several minutes to convince her to leave "I need more gags", "Let's use sound - no", "This isn't what you need", "Sorry, I'm helping a friend", etc., etc. Finally figured she wouldn't throw things off too much as she didn't have any level 6 multi-effect gags. So we gave up and went in with:

Weirdo Wolfie
Ricky
Batty Spacklebrains
Nanner
Marie Antoonette
Princess Fluffy McPounce
Catty 74 CC3 (our random)

That was MUCH harder than I thought it would be. Of course part of it was trying to convince Catty to use dust over her cane and dollars instead of blue magnets. Most of the time we were sucessful with that, but often ran out of time to pick my own gag LOL. I was sided with her for both rounds, what a good sport she was. A few on my side burned an SOS at the last cog to take the Lil Oldman card. I think Nanner used an emergency SOS card after Weirdo got sad. My view - if it's between dancing and picking daisies, do what you need to do. Pies were uneventful. I really wish I'd had some jbs to throw to Catty, but I was fresh out. Thelonious - better get Marie's merits for her LOL.

Due to the late start, it was 8:15 when we finished. Now, who wants to try for CFO . . .
PTT needs 200 bucks, can we wait? So Nanner and I go to help her get some bucks, a building should do? Fix the gags a little and tp, I'm followed there by Rollie Wildhopper who tagged along for the bucks (rats, he's not going to get 8900 for this). Rollies computer crashed after we danced leaving Nanner, PTT and I stranded in the elevator. You girls know how long we were stuck in there? I had tears rolling down my face by the time we decided to Alt F4, I was laughing so hard.

It was after 9 eastern by the time we got together and to the CFO. Thanks Jen for calling in your 2 friends to fill in the team - such amazing craning I've never seen. They were great sports, too.

Batty Spacklebrains
Princess Trixie Twinkletoes
Miss Curly Featherbee
Ricky

Nanner
Master Droopy MacPhooey
Weirdo Wolfie
Princess Fluffy McPounce

My side went quite smoothly, we had no issues. Except that I had to leave for a few rounds for RL . . . I came back to find everyone going strong. I don't think we really lured that much on our side, we mostly left the little guys and combined attacks on the bigger cogs. "What in Sam Hills going on over there" The other side seemed to be having a little bit of conflict. They're killing the little cogs, they're waking up lured cogs, etc. etc. My ears were burning by the time the cogs were done. They were let's just get this over with . . . Princess Fluffy's 2 friends (Miss Curly and Master Droopy) were some of the most amazing craners I've ever seen. Half the time, I didn't even see any goons come out before they were hitting him. A safe got on him twice (I think I may have put the 1st one on, not sure) but they had it back off immediately. I went back to the playground with my 100 jellybeans (where is Catty now) and a full laff meter.

Well...i was running merits with some other awesome TTF SFs when i got the call to do the Wacky Wed from both Nanner and Ricky. Told them i still needed about 200 bux...oof...and did they really want to wait for that?? They said "Sure" and asked if i needed help....lol...well, lets not go there... Embarassed Anyhow...asked for the run down of the rules...then started that wonderful building...lol. The building was fun...felt bad for poor Rollie with the three gals in there...lol. i swear that the high light of the evening was getting stuck in that elevator! i was dying in there....laughing so hard! Best time i have ever had being stuck in an elevator in tt! lol. BTW, how long was that??!! Rolling Eyes CFO was easy enough...especially since our side held on to those little level one and two cogs...think we kept about 2 to 3 around at any given time. We even occasionally lured them...woo hoo! When Ricky stepped out...we hardly missed her...lol. Crane round was great...i just took a nap and let Batty do all the work...thanks! lol. Great run...btw...i always love the whispers i get from sfs who are not TTF during these wed....like "that must be some CFO!" or "what happened to your gags??"...lol too funny!
